There are trash bins 100 meters away, towards the village, to avoid the smells and noise of trucks in the early morning. The village has more than 50 murals on the walls of the village houses, authentic works of art created by renowned artists. Every year at the end of July, the Pollogomez festival is held, which gives the area its name, as it is the town's emblem. The area has 24-hour video surveillance. It has a large adjoining lawn, picnic areas, and a barbecue. This area can be used for meetings and get-togethers, after contacting the town council. There is a bar-restaurant nearby.
