Lovely spot but had the bad luck to be here with a huge Winnebago which had a loud and smelly generator going. Ended up relocating toone of the few car parks on the land which was delightful. Recommended

great stopover set in massive grounds, bar is great value and we felt very welcome. no drive over grey waste that I've found but everything else as described. will be back for sure!

Muito bom. lugar muito bonito e tranquilo. chegamos às 8pm e tinha apenas 3 lugares. 10 libras por noite. preços do bar muito sinceros. vale muito a pena. sem energia. com água, que é o que interessa.

Stayed 1 night 12/7. Great place to stay. Very friendly staff in the bar. Full services available, bargain at only £10. We arrived at 5pm and had the last space, I imagine it gets busier in the school holidays.

Bonne adresse pour une halte. Pas mal de places malgré la saison. Dommage que le bruit des avions nous ait réveillé à 6h00 du matin, c’est le seul point négatif. On y retournera malgré tout.

Lovely place great food in the restaurant ideal parking for one or two nights.

Absolument génial! Accueil super sympathique par le staff du pub, le lieu de parking est entouré d'un terrain de golf et cricket, c'est très beau, très grand et très vert, nos enfants de 11 et 12 ans se sont amusés à courir partout! sur le spot de camping car qq autres véhicules, très calmes, les wc sont nickels avec du papiers toilettes, de l'eau à disposition

Mangels Alternativen haben wir uns für diesen Platz entschieden. ACHTUNG, die Zufahrt (2. Zufahrt vor dem Kreisverkehr) liegt äußerst versteckt. Der Platz selbst ist ok, kein Strom aber Ver- und Entsorgung. 10 Pfund sind ein sehr fairer Preis. Vielen Dank an den Golfclub.

Stayed overnight 14/07/25 in my Tentbox, there was another 5 staying in campervans. Clean drinking water, toilet and bins provided and full use of bar until 10pm is permitted. Pay £10 upon arrival in main building, would definitely stay again.

We’ve found park-ups very difficult in the area. Most have very little space and are noisy, so when we tried this place we weren’t sure what to expect. However, there is loads of space, access to facilities, use of the bar/restaurant etc and generally the perfect spot for £10!!

ruhig.... etwas kompliziert zu finden...durch den Park fahren 2 Toiletten vorhanden und Entsorgung toi Frischwasser hab ich nicht probiert im Clubhaus gab es Getränke ( Samstag) 10 Minuten Fußweg links kleiner Laden an der Einfahrt gegenüber ein Pub (?) passt für den Preis

First test with my 5 year old in the camper had everything needed to give him the bug. Staff were lovely with him and the site had everything we needed. Chippy 5 mins away was also very nice and an added bonus.

Stayed last night with 5 other vans in the parking area near the Manor House surrounded by extensive grounds and golf course. Far bigger than i anticipated. Friendly staff in the Manor House reception/bar. No noise at night as far away from roads etc. The only gripe would be no loo paper in the toilets but apparently they keep going ‘missing’..

Très bon emplacement près d’un golf avec possibilité de vider les toilettes et faire le plein d’eau.

Very quiet night, lovely Geordie welcome in the club. Nice short walks round golf course. Pay in main building on arrival, £10 in April 2025. Refuse bins, toilets (take a torch!) supermarkets nearby. thanks to the community for the facility

Stayed 1st weekend of February, owners very welcoming. It is a private car park, in private golf course grounds, but small with designated overnight space. Basic facilities, but facilities to empty waste and bins. Pub/ clubhouse on the grounds, lovely locals. Half way between Newcastle and Whitley Bay. Great couple of nights sleep. Will stay again.

excellent CAMpRA site. nice location, great for Newcastle. Large car park which is muddy and gravelly in what seems like equal measures but sheltered and very quiet..Water and black waste disposal and bar on site too. Excellent Geordie welcome and definitely worth a stop.

Great value for money. Nice friendly staff. Large parking area - gravelly which is a pain on wet winter days, but manageable. Service point which you can park next to for water.

great stop and facility's, stopped in on boxing day to a super friendly atmosphere from the barstaff to the customers, we were made to feel very welcomed, a good laugh through in the pool hall and must stop when on route through Newcastle

Great spot for visiting friends in Newcastle. £10/night. Super friendly and helpful staff at Miners arm bar. They showed us where to park and offered us to use the showers down in the golf club changing rooms. 1 toilet near camper area. 20 min walk to metro yellow line. £5.80 for a daysaver ticket (all day unlimited transport). Would come here again, thanks!

Perfect overnight spot, quiet overnight, really friendly staff in the Miners Welfare, (cheap pint too), really good value!

Great spot and very quiet! Very friendly staff at the clubhouse bar which is where you pay the £10. There are very few campsites in this area so we were very happy to find this site. Goggle directions take you past the entrance so just turn back.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst, rustige en proper plaats om de campervan te plaatsen. gratis gebruik van toilet en drinkwater. geen douche aanwezig maar voor 1 nacht niet zo erg. in hun bar iets gedronken, super aangename en vriendelijke mensen !!! Prachtige omgeving ! winkeltje in de buurt niet aan te raden, zeer beperkt aanbod dus beter zorgen dat je op voorhand ergens aankopen doet.

Août. très beau site près des joueurs de golf. calme et boisé par endroit. L'espace pour les camping-cars est dégagé. 20 places non individualisées. les personnes à l'accueil sont aimables, disponibles. carte bancaire acceptée, mais le cash est préféré. bon spot pour une halte. des commerces à 1,5 km.

1 Nacht hier verbracht! Abends noch im Clubhaus 2 Bier getrunken. Etwas versteckt, der Platz. Kleine Holzplatten, die einem den Weg weisen! Abends und morgens ein paar Golfer, störte uns aber nicht!

Precioso y tranquilo sitio rodeado de verde. Con servicios, sin electricidad. Acogida muy amable. Admiten pago con tarjeta.

Quiet given the proximity, plenty of room, cash only

Saubere, praktische Entsorgungsstelle, ist in der Ecke des Parkplatzes. Etwas schwierig zu finden. Die Leute auf dem Golfplatz haben uns sehr freundlich geholfen den Platz zu finden. Zufahrt unter den Bäumen hindurch. Man soll freundlicherweise die Bar besuchen und etwas essen oder trinken.
