Every year at the end of July, the Pollogomez festival is held, which gives the area its name, as it is the town's emblem. The area has 24-hour video surveillance. It has a large adjoining lawn, picnic areas, and a barbecue. This area can be used for meetings and get-togethers, after contacting the town council. There is a bar-restaurant nearby.
