Our campsite is nestled in nature, far from traffic, noise, and everything else that contributes to the stresses of everyday life. At the heart of our campsite is our small energy area with large granite stones. Sanitary facilities include showers, toilets, a baby changing room, a washing machine, and a dryer. Other amenities include a communal kitchen, a kiosk, grey water disposal, a chemical toilet disposal point, a playground, a sauna, a bread roll service, and waste separation.

Our campsite is located at the foot of Schönbühel Castle, between Melk and Aggstein on the right bank of the Danube. On an area of around 7,000 m², with beautiful old trees, every camper will find a place to relax and unwind. The campsite is located directly on the Danube cycle path and a comfortable distance from the nearest road. There is a terrace with a winter garden directly on the site for drinks and small meals from Thursday to Sunday. Rooms and apartments offer a spectacular view of the Danube and Schönbühel Castle. Swimming opportunities can be found right on the doorstep - adventure, culture and nature - everyone gets their money's worth here. Schönbühel is the perfect starting point for various excursions and adventures. If you want to end the evening romantically, this is also the right place. The campsite faces west and offers the most beautiful sunsets in the Wachau in the evenings. Your safety is also well taken care of, the flood protection surrounds the campsite and offers our guests maximum safety.
