A great place to stay. The carpark has a slight slope but nothing to write home about. Loads of takeaways, pubs and restaurants in walking distance. £5 for 24 hours. lovely views over the lake. nice and quiet but zero facilities, hence the loss of one star

This is an excellent park up. There are 9 units in total tonight and I feel very relaxed and safe. Very near the town and plenty to see and do in the area. All the units are respectfully parked and it is very quiet.

  • 4/5

Plenty of room, close to sea and town centre, very clean and quiet site and pay and display or use Ringo app, only disappointing part was NO Toilet facilities or bins unless you ventured out, 7/10

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet area(October) short walk to all shops, bars restaurants etc, water inlet views

  • 5/5

No problem parking in the middle for me as I fit in a normal parking space. Blue badge meant we parked for free. Quiet at night despite being full of overnights. Pub next to the car park, The Lakeside, open until 11.

  • 4/5

£5 charge is reasonable considering it’s for 24 hours at this location. Absolutely zero facilities though, not even a bin.

A great place to stay when visiting Southport. Very fair price. We felt safe and had a great sleep. We arrived in the dark, all camper spaces were taken so we parked in the middle (oops). The warden caught us in the morning but was friendly enough to let us move into an emptied camper spot.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot for visiting Southport, very centrally located to everything. Reasonably priced for 24 hours parking. Lots of other friendly campers there when we visited. Would stay again if in Southport.

  • 5/5

This car park is great. And just £5 per 24 hours. just get another ticket before 24 hours up. I stayed here a full 7 days. Very friendly quiet peaceful place. With the lake view. Felt very safe. A lot of geese walking about. With pubs arcades restaurants beach etc. all within minutes walk away. Will be definitely staying here again

Good points- location close to town - views of the lake - price £5.40 - plenty of spaces - Southport town centre is lovely with bars and cafes with outside seating - plenty of wildlife to watch, on that note………………………………the bad points - goose poo all over the car park - distant road noise through the night - no services but for £5.40 that’s to be expected.

Stayed here last night. Excellent price for 24hrs £5.40. Easy walk to town and attractions. No hassle from traffic wardens as long as in bay markings and great views. Plenty of Canada geese so bird mess to avoid. Lorries delivering to construction site next door start rolling in around 07:00

Great spot for exploring Southport promenade

  • 5/5

Great park up next to the lake and 5 minutes walk to the centre. Paid £5.40 for 24hrs using the RingGo app. Quite & safe with loads of other vans about. No bins or loos. Did notice there is a new theatre being built next to the car park so may become a bit noisy over the coming months. Definitely will use again when visiting Southport.

Great location overlooking the lake, but you're in a carpark so depending where you are exactly depends on how quiet it is, but everyone was respectful when we stayed. £5 for 24 hours but no facilities or bins available. It's a 10 minute walk to the centre and felt safe. There is building work nearby (a new theatre) so things may change. Will use again.

having a lovely stay overnight been into the town and spent loads of money. the carpark is lovely and quiet. the only thing we would say it's a pity there's no bins.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 22/2/25 and it was a brilliant quiet night. £5 for 24hrs although the ticket machine is broke theres RingGo. Good CCTV where we stayed so felt safe as well. Beautiful views over the Marine Lake in the morning and a short walk into town which is lovely. Great work to the local council for providing this!

  • 5/5

Stayed there Saturday night 1st Feb 2025, very quiet, quite a few camper vans and motorhomes there, cheap as chips £5.40 for 24 hours can’t beat it, as long as everybody keeps it clean and tidy. I think this is an ideal spot so let’s don’t spoil it people.

  • 5/5

Great location with a great price!!! Over 20 MH parked up over the weekend which is a great revenue earner for Sefton Council on a carpark that would be be empty overnight. However some inconsiderate people were dumping grey waste water before leaving. Please do not spoil it for others. Parking will be removed if vans continue dumping illegally. "Thank You"

Great park up. £5 for 24 hours stay. You can stay longer just need to pay for the time you use. Beautiful views over the water. Busy, felt safe. Southport pier 2 min walk away. The parking warden said to make sure your wheels are inside the lines.

  • 5/5

It’s a regular carpark £5 for 24h. 24hours max you can stay, can't extend past this. Make sure correctly park within white lines do not bump up any amount onto curb to level off you will be fined ! £25! quiet, good night sleep, everyone kept to themselves. Public toilets 10min walk away only 40p but cash only doesn't accept card. Good overnight spot but also to spend a day exploring southport.

  • 5/5

Very nice £5 overnight, lovely on the lake. 5 min walk to town and pier area. Found an Indian couple of minutes walk away. Definitely will visit this one again

  • 5/5

Well worth a stop over if you're in the area. As others have said you can't beat £5 for 24hrs. Lots of campers on, some from Germany and France too. Everyone kept to themselves. A quiet night sleep if it wasn't for the birds ha.

  • 5/5

Great park up only £5 for 24 hours it was even cheaper for me someone gave me a ticket

  • 4/5

great overnight stop location close to all bars and restaurants on the south end of lord street. no facilities and lots of goose/swan poo around so watch you don't trail it into your vehicle. please please please people, pay your £5 and be respectful to the council for allowing us to use it or they will take it away. tighter than an aeroplane door some folk. at least 10 vans not paid.

  • 5/5

Couldn’t sleep as 6 drunken scantily clad girls were asking to come in for a pillow fight .. I ended up moving .. ps only messing

  • 4/5

Good spot for the night, it’s a regular carpark £5 for 24h, about 20 motorhomes and campervans parked the night we spent there (and plenty more on other surrounding carparks). Quiet, good night sleep, everyone kept to themselves. Walking distance to the beach, pier, town, cinema. Public toilets 10min walk away, bins nearby. Good overnight spot but also to spend a day exploring Southport.

  • 5/5

Brilliant park up, £5 for 24 hours and a short walk to the pier. The car park is on a slight incline

  • 4/5

Nice carpark that allows overnight parking altho not very level. All vehicles must be parked within the marked lines of the bay. You will be fined if cought with wheels on the footpath by the lake, larger vans can overhang on the grass verge. £5.00 for 24 hours.
