Great place to stop for the night. some flat spots and some a bit sloping. quiet at night, apart from the waves. some dog walkers in evening and morning.
Nous avons demandé à une dame locale où se garer à proximité et elle nous a indiqué cet endroit. Suivez le panneau indiquant le club de golf, passez devant le cimetière et tournez à droite et vous découvrirez une jetée utilisée par les habitants avec de belles vues.
We asked a local lady about where to park nearby and she directed us to this place. Follow sign for Golf Club, drive past it, and grave yard and bear to the right and you will discover a pier used by locals with beautiful views.

Folgen Sie der Beschilderung zum Golf Club, fahren Sie am Friedhof vorbei und halten Sie sich rechts. PDPHOTOGRAPHY26/08/2025a good size area to park, coyld get a coople big vans in. next to the Anlantic nice little walk and some very nice dipping in the little bay. portable toilet ok but was more of a hole with a seat not for everyone. Quite a busy place people coming and going all the time, locals I think. not completely flat but parts were ok.
davez0729/07/202529 juillet 2025. Accès facile et parking vaste. Nous nous sommes installés sur l’espace en herbe afin de respecter les locaux qui viennent se baigner. Très calme, nature, océan..que demander de plus … je recommande !
batynette23/06/2025Beautiful spot with clean portaloo and very friendly locals. great morning swim in the little bay beside the pier. we stayed at the back of the dunes for privacy. fantastic sunset.

Stayed one night. There is a sauna and hotpool there I'd recommend. €20 per person. Probably only open in the school holidays and at weekends.

Lovely place for a stayover. However, we got to see why they call it the Wild Atlantic Way. Thought it was going to blow us over. 11/8/24

Very quiet and beautiful spot. Not level but there was a grass area 100 meters back the road that was perfect, especially on a very windy night. Portaloo at the pier wasn't very clean, but there were 2 very clean options up at the graveyard.
allandmilne02/07/2024Yet another beautiful setting in Ireland. The further north I get on the wild Atlantic Way the better the scenery and the people are so lovely.

Great place to stay! Really quiet, just a few dog walkers who were really friendly. Toilet facility and a little coffee van (not sure when it opens, shut when we were there). Straight on to the beach for a morning swim, and great views over the golf course! Would recommend tucking back a little bit on a windy night, tuck into the dune on the left.

Great little park up. It’s sloping in most directions. Busy with locals, so wouldn’t have too many vans, nor block the causeway. Nice walks around, no facilities. Peaceful night.
