The Sunday lunch food was just about okay but not very hot; it was not worth the £50+ for the main meal plus a drink each, with no pudding. I tried to use the beer garden toilet at 9pm, only to find the whole establishment in darkness, nor was the toilet open in the morning. There is a dedicated space for campers on the grass (no views from there) and there is a water tap. Not value for money.

Pub was lovely, dog friendly and the food was nice. Great walks for the dogs and the views were amazing. There was a working garage on site and they were working late and arrived early. However, it didn’t bother us. Still a great place to stay

Fabulous stop over in fairly flat car park with great views. very quiet at night and great food in the restaurant. 5 mins from the Beamish Living Museum.

Great parking with nice morning views. Cleaning staff were friendly and had the toilets open and sparkling just after 7am! Restaurant was really good for breakfast. Parking on a very slight slope, but no problem with levellers

Been to Beamish for the day&were looking for somewhere to stay with food. We have a 13 &5 year old. This place was spot on&our stay lovely. Paul, the groundsman, was super helpful&even provided us with a local map.Toilets very clean.Fresh water tap near where we stayed.Children loved the play area&football field.Grounds were stunning.Food and staff were fab. Really would recommend as a stop off

Ganz tolle, sehr gepflegte Umgebung. Man kann das Fahrzeug nach vorhergehender Anmeldung bei der Rezeption irgendwo auf der Wiese abstellen. Kosten tut das Ganze nichts. Es ist einfach erwünscht, dass man entweder im Restaurant das Nachtessen oder das morgen essen einnimmt. Paul ist der Chef des Gartenteams und ist sehr bemüht, dass es den Gästen gut geht.

made to feel very welcome by Paul and Chris the gardeners. meal we had was absolutely superb and value for money. beer was wonderful. Great views flat parking on the carpark at the moment but normally on grass. can't fault the place.

Great place, staff are very pleasant. View of surroundings is fantastic.We went back for extra nights and we asked friends to join us for lunch there which was delicious. We met the head groundsman Paul and he and his colleagues Luke and Luke were so friendly and considerate, careful not to disturb us too early. Thank you all. Hopefully we'll meet again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, reasonably priced in a lovely setting. Could be a little noisy when they have a wedding on I suppose, but you’re parked some way from their marquee. Definitely recommend.

Really fab stop, parking is on grass behind the football goals - drive in, turn right and right again onto the grass. We would highly recommend the steak and ale pie!

Drove long distances and needed an overnight sleep break. They accommodate car sleepers, as well. Used the local gym and supermarket for services. Beautiful pub and surroundings.

Brilliant pub for a 1 night stop over, on first glance looked a little posh for us in our little camper but the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was lovely and the kids meals were free with our adult meals so not so expensive, onother plus there were a good selection of real ales, so for all the reasons above we would definitely recommend and will be staying there again.

This is one of my favourite pub stops and I will definitely be back when I am in the area (I want to come and see the new updates at Beamish).

Ein sehr schöner Platz/Ort, nicht weit entfernt von Newcastle. Bin von hier mit dem Fahrrad über einen schönen Radweg durch die Natur in die City von Newcastle gefahren. Abends dann nach der Rückkehr hier im Restaurant lecker gegessen und getrunken. Das hat Spaß und Freude gemacht. Kann ich nur empfehlen wenn’s dann zurück zur Fähre in Richtung IJmuiden/NL geht. Good bye/Tot ziens/auf Wiedersehen.

Great place to stop the night, the food is good the staff are friendly and was more then happy for us to park in the corner of the car park,

Spent a lovely quiet frosty night in a quiet corner of the car park and woke to stunning sunrise across the valley. We and our dog were made to feel very welcome in the bar. The food was delicious and super hot when it was served. A wander around the Car Barn below the car park is worthwhile. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to the staff.

Amazing park up. Great views and a really peaceful nights sleep (although I’d had a couple of Chardonnays in the bar). There was a wedding going on so the music was loud until late as it was a Saturday which didn’t bother me but might others. Fab food - the chips are perfect and reasonably priced for the amount and quality. Would definitely come back again!

stayed one night food was great staff very friendly. playpark for kids to run wild in would recommend to everyone. two big areas for parking.

Excellent flat car park, so quiet too. Food was delicious , staff very friendly. Had a very pleasant afternoon / evening in the beer garden and bar. Was great to crash in the van at the end of the night. Defo recommend

would definitely recommend this pub, stayed here for the night without any bother whatsoever, lovely flat car park and the food was delicious, only problem was we had nowhere to empty our toilet in our motorhome.

Lovely place. Very friendly people, pub and food very good. Try the scotch egg/black pudding starter. Perfect place to visit the Beamish Museum.

Absolutely stunning food. Rang beforehand to make sure it was OK to park overnight. Will definately be staying again.

Stayed one night. Pub grub is good and there is a Morgan dealer is next door with other interesting cars. pub has loos that are locked at night.
