‘Twas fine for a night. The surroundings are pretty nice with the tow path good for walking the dog and running, though the main road is very close. The shower wasn’t great though, not the best flow and changeable temperature, for an extra 50p too.
Small campsite attached to a working farm, great views, easy to walk along canal into Skipton. Adequate, clean toilets and showers (you do need 50p coins). No drive over but possible to fill with water if you park by tap, to empty grey you'll need containers to empty into a grate by toilets. Well worth the £25 per night, inc elec, for a pitch (no extra costs for people, kids, dogs, awnings etc)
Mooie camping en vriendelijke uitbaatster. Eén minpuntje: om te douchen heb je 50 pence nodig, anders geen warm water.
We made a late booking when we were only a couple of hours away, but were still able to get a hard standing pitch for the night - the site was full apart from the grass 'tent' areas in late October. Excellent facilities although I didn't work out where I would have dumped my gray water if I'd needed to - fresh water and toilet disposal wasn't a problem. Great views in the morning!
A really nice and clean spot. Everything you need is there. If you like to explore the city a nice walk along the channel will guide you direct to the city center. We definitely recommend this place and will come back.
A lovely site (10 hard standing electric pitches) about 1 mile from Skipton town center and very easy to walk along the canal path. The post code shown for the site is incorrect, it should be BD23 3AA. The site can get full during the months of Spring and Summer, particularly at the week ends, so it is essential to book in advance. Ring Ian or Jennette.
