Good lay-by, hard standing and far enough off the road to be safe. Easily room for a few campervans here. No facilities of course so you must be self contained
Installez-vous juste à côté de la route principale longeant le mur d'Hadrien. Belles vues, nous nous sommes cachés à l'arrière pour laisser la place à d'autres qui voudraient peut-être s'arrêter. A été rejoint par un autre camping-car et a passé une nuit paisible à part un automobiliste heureux qui a pensé que c'était intelligent de nous réveiller mais ne nous a pas dérangés. Étant donné que c'était samedi soir, il fallait s'y attendre. Aucune restriction ici. Pas d'installations alors emportez vos déchets avec vous. Généralement très calme, à part quelques voitures qui passent.
Pull in place just off the main road running alongside Hadrians Wall. Nice views, we tucked ourselves away at the back to leave room for others that might want to stop. Was joined by another motorhome and had a peace night other than one horn happy motorist who thought it was clever to wake us up but didn’t bother us. Considering it was Saturday night it was to be expected. No restrictions at all here. No facilities so take your rubbish with you. Mostly very quiet other than the odd car passing.
Halten Sie direkt an der Hauptstraße entlang des Hadrianswalls an. Schöne Aussicht, wir haben uns hinten versteckt, um Platz für andere zu schaffen, die vielleicht anhalten möchten. Ein weiteres Wohnmobil gesellte sich dazu und wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht, abgesehen von einem hupenden Autofahrer, der es für klug hielt, uns zu wecken, uns aber nicht störte. Wenn man bedenkt, dass es Samstagabend war, war das zu erwarten. Hier gibt es überhaupt keine Einschränkungen. Keine Einrichtungen, also nehmen Sie Ihren Müll mit. Meistens sehr ruhig, abgesehen von gelegentlich vorbeifahrenden Autos.
