Le parking fait partie d'Ambleside RUFC dans la jolie ville d'Ambleside. Nous sommes arrivés tard vers minuit mais heureusement, la porte n'était pas encore verrouillée. Si le bar est ouvert, le propriétaire laissera la porte ouverte un peu plus tard, mais cela vaut la peine de se présenter avant cela. Super petit bar avec toilettes sur place avec accès possible aux douches du club de rugby (pas utilisé). Parking 24 heures sur 24 pour 20 £ et laissé la camionnette là-bas pendant que nous partions nous promener dans la randonnée à proximité de Fairfield Horseshoe. Propriétaire très sympathique. J'y retournerais sans hésiter pour faire plus de randonnées et soutenir l'entretien du club de rugby !
The car park is part of Ambleside RUFC in pretty Ambleside. We showed up late at around midnight but luckily gate wasn’t locked yet - if the bar is open then owner will leave gate open a little later but worth showing up before that. 24 hour parking for £20 and left van there while we went for a walk up nearby Fairfield Horseshoe hike. Owner very friendly. Would definitely return to do more hikes and support the upkeep of the rugby club!
Der Parkplatz ist Teil des Ambleside RUFC im hübschen Ambleside. Wir kamen spät, gegen Mitternacht, an, aber zum Glück war das Tor noch nicht verschlossen. Wenn die Bar geöffnet ist, lässt der Besitzer das Tor etwas später offen, aber es lohnt sich, vorher zu erscheinen. Tolle kleine Bar mit Toiletten vor Ort und möglichem Zugang zu Rugby-Club-Duschen (nicht genutzt). 24-Stunden-Parkplatz für 20 £ und wir ließen den Van dort, während wir einen Spaziergang auf dem nahegelegenen Fairfield Horseshoe-Wanderweg machten. Besitzer sehr freundlich. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um weitere Wanderungen zu unternehmen und den Unterhalt des Rugby-Clubs zu unterstützen!
El aparcamiento forma parte de Ambleside RUFC en la bonita ciudad de Ambleside. Llegamos tarde, alrededor de la medianoche, pero afortunadamente la puerta aún no estaba cerrada con llave. Si el bar está abierto, el dueño dejará la puerta abierta un poco más tarde, pero vale la pena presentarse antes. Pequeño gran bar con baños en el lugar con posible acceso a las duchas del club de rugby (no utilizadas). Estacionamiento las 24 horas por £ 20 y dejamos la camioneta allí mientras íbamos de excursión al cercano Fairfield Horseshoe. Propietario muy amable. ¡Definitivamente regresaría para hacer más caminatas y apoyar el mantenimiento del club de rugby!

Perfect park up and lovely owner. We stayed for the day for £5. Car park fills quickly with vans as it’s understandably very popular so do try and get there before midday if you can. We got fresh water and emptied our cassette. Paid by card but also do accept cash. Currently no grey water disposal due to works being done.
Very friendly & helpful owner. £20 is very reasonable. Water facility, grey-water & chemical toilet disposal. Opened in winter. Perfect! Thank you!
Nice place, The owner is very helpful and friendly, Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Ambleside. £20 per night with access to Water, and black waste disposal.
Turned up lunch time, gate was closed but not locked. 1 car and van in car park, Let self in parked up had a look, all locked up. owner was in club had just returned from holiday so was sorting place out. let me stop even though closed till tomorrow. Only £20. Fairly secure, nice views. Although closed still water and bins on site. Not far from lake, fort, cafe, restaurants & PUB - 5G Vodafone
Busy road through the day, but quietens at night. Club house is very clean, with toilets, bar, sports etc, although inaccessible when the club house closes. Very friendly. 10 minute walk in to town. Hardstanding, no hookup.
Hi folks, I run the Rugby club here in Ambleside, we offer 24 hours of parking for £20. When the club is open, the toilets are available for people parking. Unfortunately, we do not have shower facilities available.
Secure parking area, currently closed for refurbishment until end of January 2024, just lucky to get in when the gates were opened although no facilities were available we were charged the full amount. It would be a brilliant overnight stay in drier conditions, not in the middle of storm gerrit ?
Owner very friendly and helpful, ideally, located for access to the town, spent a quiet and pleasant night there.
Owner extremely friendly, brilliant spot close to everything. Will definitely use again when back in Ambleside.
