Le club de rugby d'Ambleside (Ambleside RUFC) vous invite à passer la nuit dans son charmant coin de paradis au bord des lacs, à Ambleside.
Nous accueillons tous les camping-cars et caravanes pour une durée maximale de 72 heures au tarif de 20 £ par tranche de 24 heures.
Les portes sont généralement ouvertes de 11h à 16h-17h.
Attention : les places sont limitées à 12 et attribuées selon le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi.
L'accès aux toilettes est temporairement indisponible jusqu'au 16 janvier.

We welcome all motor homes and camper vans for up 72 hrs at £20 per 24hrs
Gates will usual be open at 11am and locked at between 4-5 pm
Please be aware we operate a first come first serve basis and only have 12 places.

Used only to empty the chemical toilet and bins. Very convenient, go into the building and ask, it costs £5. The gates were locked when we first went at about 10.30am, but other campers were in there and said the owner normally arrives at 11am. We came back and it was then open.
Ambleside is a great stop, but very difficult to find overnight parking. The Rugby Club is a very good stopover. Convenient for going into town which is about 5-10 minute walk. Can use the toilets when the bar is open and also able to get some water as well.
You can fill up with water for 5 pounds!
5-10 minute walk from town and similar distance from Windermere Waterhead. Next to the main road but no problem with noise for sleeping. Toilets can be used in the bar when open but closing time can be variable
Great spot this.. Right in the heart of Ambleside. Short 5-10 min walk into town. We rolled up at 5:30pm on Saturday, few vans there but plenty of space. £20 for the night & 24hr parking. Bar was open so had a beer as well. Great for a couple of nights.. toilets available when bar open. Will definitely use again soon.
Perfect park up and lovely owner. We stayed for the day for £5. Car park fills quickly with vans as it’s understandably very popular so do try and get there before midday if you can. We got fresh water and emptied our cassette. Paid by card but also do accept cash. Currently no grey water disposal due to works being done.
Very friendly & helpful owner. £20 is very reasonable. Water facility, grey-water & chemical toilet disposal. Opened in winter. Perfect! Thank you!
Nice place, The owner is very helpful and friendly, Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Ambleside. £20 per night with access to Water, and black waste disposal.
Turned up lunch time, gate was closed but not locked. 1 car and van in car park, Let self in parked up had a look, all locked up. owner was in club had just returned from holiday so was sorting place out. let me stop even though closed till tomorrow. Only £20. Fairly secure, nice views. Although closed still water and bins on site. Not far from lake, fort, cafe, restaurants & PUB - 5G Vodafone
Busy road through the day, but quietens at night. Club house is very clean, with toilets, bar, sports etc, although inaccessible when the club house closes. Very friendly. 10 minute walk in to town. Hardstanding, no hookup.
Hi folks, I run the Rugby club here in Ambleside, we offer 24 hours of parking for £20. When the club is open, the toilets are available for people parking. Unfortunately, we do not have shower facilities available.
Secure parking area, currently closed for refurbishment until end of January 2024, just lucky to get in when the gates were opened although no facilities were available we were charged the full amount. It would be a brilliant overnight stay in drier conditions, not in the middle of storm gerrit ?
Owner very friendly and helpful, ideally, located for access to the town, spent a quiet and pleasant night there.
Owner extremely friendly, brilliant spot close to everything. Will definitely use again when back in Ambleside.
