Nestled in the shade of immense plane trees, this campsite offers a calm and relaxing setting, ideal for a stopover in Provence. Located on Île de la Barthelasse, a short walk from the Palais des Papes (City of Popes), it is a perfect starting point for exploring Avignon and the enchanting landscapes of the Vaucluse region. A free river shuttle service is available 1.6 km away, providing easy access to the city center. On-site, you'll find a convenient little grocery store, a year-round swimming pool for the more adventurous, and a pleasant restaurant and bar nestled under the mulberry trees, complete with pastries to start your day off right. The campsite also offers bicycle rentals, ideal for exploring Barthelasse Island and its surroundings, while enjoying breathtaking views of the city of Avignon.
