Small parking area set back off main road and next to woods. Great walks from here into Lomond Hills. Nearby the Pillars of Hercules a spendid organic and vegetarian cafe/restaurant with shop and camp site. Toilets as well as showers.

After this area being developed last year there are now 3 car parks. One where it was originally and two new areas added. We normally stay at the Duckpond but with signs now saying no overnight stays, we drove round to this one. Very quiet and dark overnight with the road being quiet too. Traffic picked up in the morning with dog walkers but was all fine. Huge forest to explore on bikes and walk.
Super nuit sur le parking additionnel (overflow parking) situé au bout de l'allée après le café, on était tout seul et tranquille ! Contribution conseillée de £2-3 (boîtier à l'entrée). Même si le terrain est bien plat il n'y a en effet que de l'herbe donc à éviter je pense en cas de grosses pluies les jours précédents. Au départ d'une bonne balade sur les Lomond Hills via Maspie Den !
Muy buen sitio, con bastante espacio para camping. Cerca de rutas de senderismo. Los baños muy bien, con duchas.
No overnight parking in the car park, they do have campervan pitches in the overflow parking area past the cafe but they're on grass.
The showers are very good and private. To find them you just have to follow the farm coffee shop sign that is in the car park. Then enter the coffee shop and to your right are the toilets. The showers are free if you stay the night in the campsite, otherwise there is a fee of £2,50. There is no shampoo/gel inside, but you can buy some in the shop, which opens 8:30-18:00h 7 days a week.
Large, redone parking lot. Quiet once dog walkers leave for night. Bicyclists arrive around 8 am.
