Nice walks alongside the water, just off main road and a good location near to Inverness. Can’t see any issues for overnight parking, it’s a lovely pull-up with views over moray firth, bins on site too, I didn’t stay overnight but stopped for an undisturbed cuppa hoping to see dolphins.

We stayed here last night. as mentioned great views, very quiet except for one person blowing their hire at 10pm and 8am. It is one of 3 spots to park up at with a bin for rubbish - the other two are much smaller and narrower, so it is not suitable for a large motorhome - more suitable for dog walkers. One other camper stayed the night. Popular with local dog walkers.
Stayed here for one night 27/12/25 - Peugeot Boxer L3H2. Very quiet in terms of passing traffic, but the one thing to be aware of is the alarm for the level crossing barriers which goes off at least once an hour, and when you’re fast asleep - the beeping might sound something like your smoke alarm and frighten the living daylights out of you! Otherwise, no issues - bins (full) but still present.
This truly is a fantastic park4night location. I can confirm, it is a little pull in just off the side of the road. Yes, vehicles drive past however, it’s quiet most of the time. I had a great nights sleep and will definitely use this location again If it’s available, unfortunately by posting this, everybody will know, so I might not be able to get in it next time. Spread the goodness.:-)
Stayed here 22/10/25, and for a freebie is was ideal. Right next to the beach, lovely quiet walk alongside it for the dog. Never smelled the sewage works while we were there, wind must have been blowing in our favour. We arrived first and then another 3 vans after us. Would defo stay there again
Aparcamos en el cruce y había dos camiones que a las 6 de la mañana ya encendieron el motor durante una hora. Fue muy molesto. También olia mal por la depuradora. Recomiendo meterse en el camino y pasar la noche un poco mas apartados del cruce El sitio es muy bonito y sin tráfico. Tuvimos mala suerte.
prachtige plek met heerlijk uitzicht. Het is aan een weg maar weinig verkeer. Ik heb prima geslapen en genoten .
Great for an overnight stop. Fantastic views across the Firth, a few friendly local dog walkers, only minor issue was an occasional waft from the nearby sewage works haha
Wirklich tolle Stelle für eine Nacht. Man sollte nur schauen, dass man gut am Rand steht, damit die LKWs noch gut durchkommen. An sich auch sehr ruhig und super toller Ausblick. Vielleicht sollte man sich nicht mit Campern hinstellen.
Good for one night, locals come here with dogs, but at the night is quiet.
Bien pour une nuit gratuite. Belle vue sur la baie. Qq voitures dans la soirée, qq trains mais rien de dérangeant. Peu de places mais nous étions seuls cette nuit.
very simple but you wake up to a spectacular view and the sound of birds. very peaceful.
it's a small dirt pull in directly at the head of the junction - anyone misjudged the corner will plough in to you. I wouldn't stay even if desperate, despite of lovely view.
I added this place just over a year ago when I’d only parked for the day but thought at the time it looked a solid overnight spot so I’m excited to be back to test it tonight! So far so good, quiet and off the main road, lovely views, got an appointment early tomorrow in Inverness so this is a convenient location

Ce n'est pas franchement un spot pour la nuit, mais plutôt une "passing place".
3 o 4 parcheggi per camper a bordo strada. Tranquillo la notte.
Posizione bordo strada con vista sulla baia, altri camper vicino a me, nessun problema la notte. Non proprio un parcheggio ma per una notte va benissimo. Side of the street, quiet in the night. Amazing view on the bay. Ok for one night, quiet, other campers sleeps here with me
29 julio: Aparcamiento no señalizado en borde de carretera, a la entrada de una estación de depuración de aguas que suelta algo de mal olor más o menos notable según el viento. No hay servicios. Apenas sí hay sitio para 4 o 5 furgos sin invadir demasiado el carril. El sitio es tranquilo y de noche no hay apenas tránsito (hay un paso a nivel cerca pero de noche no nos molestó nada. Parece que mucha gente viene durante el dia a pasear y observar las gaviotas. Con tiempo bueno, las vistas del estuario son muy bonitas. Pasamos una muy buena noche a pesar del viento.
Toĺle Aussicht auf die Brücke in Inverness. Großer Supermarkt mit Kundentoiletten ist unter 2km entfernt. Es waren noch andere Camper vor Ort und niemand störte sich daran. Einige Spaziergänger am Abend dafür nachts sehr ruhig. Der Zug war 3-4x in den 12 Std. Aufenthalt zu hören.
Parked for the night, was joined by one other camper who parked a respectful distance. Minimal traffic in evening, train tracks across field but passing trains are not objectionably loud. Good service and bin, only catch is there is waste water plant down the coast, no smell just avoid looking west
Pas bien large mais parfait pour passer une nuit gratuitement à proximité d’Inverness. Belle vue. Souvent beaucoup de vent apparement.
Endroit calme avec passages ponctuels (voitures, camions, trains). Jolie vue panoramique sur la baie. Services sur Inverness à moins de 10 minutes en voiture (station essence, supermarché Morrison's, centre-ville).
Nous venons de passer la nuit, au calme. Jolie vue sur le bras de mer et Inverness en fond. Attention, pas beaucoup de places possible pour se garer. Poubelles publiques.
Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour la nuit 1km plus au nord du point indiqué dans un emplacement suffisamment grand pour accueillir notre camping-car. Nuit venteuse mais super vue !
Stopped for break not sure about overnight
Stopped at Inverness on the way up fro. Edinburgh for the night. Lovely view but it is on a road, so a little traffic and some trains. I found it difficult to sleep but this is probably due to first night in a new vehicle.
Parked overnight 28/03/24. it was mine and my partners first night in a motorhome ever, and we'd just driven up from Edinburgh and arrived in the dark. It's relatively quiet, there is the occasional train and car, but when we opened the door and stepped directly onto the bank of the firth took my breath away and sold me on motorhome holidays. Made a difficult drive up all worth it!
Comfy spot for the night along waters edge. It is a used public road, but quiet after 2300 as does the main road above. Train line also quiet during the night. Only facility is a waste bin. Nice walk along the sea front.
De nacht van 17 op 18/09 daar doorgebracht. Geen verbodstekens. Vriendelijke buurtbewoners. Met 5 campers zou ik er niet staan omdat het eigenlijk een openbare weg is. Met 2 of 3, naargelang de lengte, zou het moeten lukken. Vuilbak aanwezig, niets anders dan het mooie uitzicht. Af en toe een trein maar stoorde niet. Zou het onmiddellijk opnieuw doen.
