Une superbe trouvaille pour notre dernière nuit à Islay ! Une prairie avec une douzaine d'emplacements pour camping-cars. Tous sont équipés d'un robinet d'eau et d'électricité, et un bloc sanitaire flambant neuf avec douches est à disposition. Un lave-linge et un sèche-linge sont également disponibles.
A great find for our last night on Islay: a meadow with about 12 campervan pitches. All have a water tap and electricity, and there's a brand new toilet and shower block. A washing machine and dryer are also available.
Ein toller Fund für unsere letzte Nacht auf Islay. Eine Wiese mit etwa 12 Wohnmobilstellplätzen. Alle verfügen über einen Wasserhahn und Strom, und es gibt einen brandneuen Toiletten- und Duschblock. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

The van park opens in March, but you can still empty your chemical toilet and fill up with water. You have to ask the person behind the desk in the petrol station, but he was lovely. Charged us £5 and helped us with the hose pipe. Quick and easy. Was also cleaning supplies for the toilet!
Excellent facilities, stayed for 2 nights. Shower/toilets spotless. Great views across the bay. Very quiet spot, a bit of early morning traffic but nothing to disturb you.
*** Now fully open *** A brilliant find for our last night in Islay. A grass field with about 12 motorhome pitches. All have water tap and EHU and there is a brand new block of toilets and showers. Washing machine and dryer available too.

The aire facility is still under construction . There were workmen on site . The grey waste dump is available 24/7 . The fresh water and Elsan is available when the filling station is open - it is locked in a shed and needs to be unlocked by the owner to access . This appears to be the only place on the island with facilities other than the only campsite on the island at Port Charlotte .
Soooo many thanks for this facility and for keeping the price very reasonable. You are for sure doing your part to keep the island clean. Grey dump is a car wash grate so I guess that is 24/7 if you leave some money? Closed on Sunday. Tire refill station is currently broken.
Absoluter netter Service hier. Wir konnten alles entsorgen und Frischwasser auffüllen. für besagte 5£. Da es auf der Insel wohl nur zwei Orte gibt, für die Ver- und Entsorgung, kann ich den Ort hier nur wärmstens empfehlen.
Super accueil avec le sourire de la dame de la station il y a pas mieux 5£ pour l’eau et les eaux noires .La station de lavage est parfaite et fonctionne très bien .

Ok I’ve visited islay April 2024 , the campsite is under construction/renovation , the garage is still open . I am not sure if the services are a valuable, eg water /waste
