Quiet place to spend the night. A bit dirty as some people left trash on the ground and seems like a parking where people just sit in their car and chill.

Lovely quiet off road car park next to a large wildlife water area. Lots of green space and woodland 1km walk. Plenty of space for camping and 5 minutes to small village Condorrat. Broadwood Stadium and retail park. St Maurice's Pond.
Schöner, ruhiger Parkplatz abseits der Straße neben einem großen Wildgewässergebiet. Viel Grünfläche und Wald 1 km zu Fuß entfernt. Viel Platz zum Campen und 5 Minuten zum kleinen Dorf Condorrat. Broadwood Stadium und Fachmarktzentrum. St. Maurice's Pond.

spacious area near a lake. close to a highway but the noise is well shielded by trees. spend a cozy night here. the town is nothing special but it's only a short trip by bus to Glasgow
RoxiSz25/08/2025Spacious spot with room between vans. Bins on site but overflowing, seemed more from locals than campers, but we cleared the ground before leaving. Not far from a busy road so some traffic noise, but not too loud. Dog walkers came and went without issue. Fine for a 1–2 night stopover, though not especially scenic.

Environ une quinzaine de places de parking (pour voitures ou van). Facile à trouver avec waze. Comme le disent les autres commentaires le bruit des voitures de l'autoroute au loin mais pas gênant. Près d'un chemin où les gens promènent leurs chiens mais mignon près d'un petit lac. Déchets un peu par terre mais très bien pour une nuit. Je recommande.
MoonKnight1306/08/2025Alright, stop before heading into the Highlands with nearby restaurants and fast food. The only issue we found was cars arriving late, hanging around, then leaving — I guess they were looking for pineapples but couldn’t find any...

Very nice parking near a lake. Spacious angular spots arranged in a circle. No facilities other than bins, but McDonald and a gas station 10 mins walk with toilets. A popular local dog walking spot, plus fishermen park during the day, but very quiet and peaceful at night. Felt safe and welcome, a few other vans/motorhomes parked for the night as well.

Très bel emplacement avec plusieurs places de parking, nous avons un camping car de 7m50 .le tout entouré de verdure. Relativement calme, juste un bruit de fond dû à la route un peu plus loin, mais pas très gênant.Des gens viennent promener leur chien mais il y a de la place pour tous.

Schöner Platz zum Übernachten! Viel Grün drum herum, ab und an Leute die vorbei kommen und mit ihrem Hund spazieren gehen, aber alle sehr freundlich. In der Nacht waren wir alleine. Die Straße lässt sich gut ausblenden, in der Nacht wenig befahren. Wir standen mit einem 6,5m Wohnmobil dort.

Ein sehr schöner Platz für kleinere Wohnmobile zum Übernachten. Ja man hört die Autogeräusche, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Tagsüber kommen immer mal wieder Leute die mit ihren Hundis spazieren gehen. Der Platz liegt an einem See, der mit viel Grün umgeben ist. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen und haben hier 2x übernachtet.

I've just stayed at this location overnight. Yes, there is white noise in the background from the motorway, but it's not that bad. Had a very peaceful night.

Sorry I didn’t really rate this. It’s just off a busy main road and only a few hundred metres from the very busy M80 so there was lots of road noise all night. There was litter everywhere and people milling about. Wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent spot for over night! Very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of spaces. And no highly restriction. Will definitely use this again, as it’s a perfect half way stop to the highlands.
motorhomeadventure05/10/2023I know this location. Easy walk to pubs, petrol stations, retail park, (Aldi, M*S food, pet store with vet, other stores, takeaways (Greggs, Tim Hortons and others)). McDonalds and Broadwood Farm pub/restaurant are 5 minutes walk away. The location is only a few minutes' drive from the M80 motorway. Unsuitable for long MHs and campers due to hedging and large rocks preventing overhangs.
