A beautifully positioned campervan site looking North West towards Long Island, Boscastle and in the distance, Lundy Island.
The site can accommodate 30 campervans with large pitches - all with great views.

Access to the site is good, just off the main road (B3263) between Tintagel and Boscastle - and can accommodate larger motorhomes.
Pitches are mown grass, so access may be restricted during wetter weather.

Unfortunately we don't have toilet facilities at present so campervans will need their own facilities. We can provide water on-site if required.

The site also serves as the car park for Bossiney Cove (see images) - accessible at low tide via a 10 minute walk down a relatively steep path. During holiday periods, a coffee & ice cream van visits the site when the weather and tides are good.

The site is 10-15 minute flat and level walk into Tintagel village where there are several pubs, shops and the world famous Tintagel Castle.
Boscastle is around 10 minutes drive to the north.

Overnight (Campervans with facilities only) - £15 per night.
Please book in advance via pitchup.com or pay onsite (subject to availability) between 6pm and 7pm via card / cash to Site Manager

Site is opened at 9am and closed at 7pm. Gate code can be provided if early egress required.

Parking - £3 all day (vehicles will need to vacate by 7pm). Please pay by cash or QR code link (pole next to gate).

Please note - due to the site being predomnantly grass, following very wet weather, the site may be temporarily closed to all vehicles.

amazing campsite, £5 over night stay if you are self sufficient. van/motorhome with toilet. veiws are stunning, lovely walks close by. owners are brill.

  • 5/5

What lovely owners! What a great site! I've spent a few nights here and I've simply loved it. Cheap, hassle-free, friendly, fantastic views. If it's full (or closed if it's wet), there's a similar set up in Tintagel, on the bend on Atlantic Road, just before the Camelot Castle Hotel. It's also, just a fiver (I tried to add it to P4N, but it wasn't possible)

  • 3/5

Great stop just outside of Tintagel, very cheap and upon our arrival, pretty busy. Unfortunately we did not stay for the evening as unless you have chocks (levellers) you will be unlevel, the only level spot was at the very end of the field, which was taken. Several vans like us left due to the unlevel ground. No amenities, patchy mobile signal.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Absolutely incredible views. A very close walk down to the coves. still only £5 a night for 2 people. Remember only campers with toilets allowed as per their licence.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 4 nights, lovely scenery. Close to the coastline and paths . Enjoyed the walks to Tintagel then to Boscastle. Rocky Valley is beautiful. At night gates locked. Not an issue when you have been given the gate code. Nearest pubs are in Tintagel about 10mins walk on the road. You do have to be self efficient on this site with your own toilet. Really enjoyed my stay.

  • 4/5

Great stay, easy access to beach and good for large vehicles. Really great cheap option. It was busy when we went due to half the campsite being booked but you can hang around till the day visitors leave and get a spot. £5 cash for overnight stay. Tintagle a shot walk or bike ride away.

  • 5/5

Absolute bargain, £1 during the day (honesty box) & £5 overnight (collected by owner before gates are shut). Stunning views and coastal walks.

  • 5/5

I usually only give a 5th star to somewhere that's not only amazing, but also free. However, this place deserves commending for being just £5, in a sector that sees so much greed these days! Owner was friendly, was a peaceful night, and Bossiney Cove is stunning. Ignore the 'path closed' signs and go for a swim....just remember to look up as you walk down there!

  • 5/5

Back again for warm welcome, peaceful nights sleep and fantastic views. What more do you want,

  • 5/5

Fantastic place to stay, view is amazing. The field s split into two parts. The upped section, slightly sloping for day visitors, the lower flatter section ( if it is open - may not be in wet weather) is for overnight stays. Still £5 per night. Easy 15 minute flat walk into Tintagel, or a mote challenging 3.5mile walk along the coast path to Boscastle- but you can get the bus back!

  • 2/5

Meh! The supervisor essentially micromanaging how we parked, insisted that we park exactly as she preferred. Even though we parked in a normal and respectful manner, she still asked us to reposition our camper, this also happened to our friend’s camper and they were parked inconveniently next to us. Given that the lot was nearly empty, this request felt unnecessary/uncomfortable, uneven ground.

  • 5/5

Gorgeous Spot overlooking Bossiney Cove, £5 overnight , get here by 7pm they locks the gates and provide you with a code should you need to get out. Very peaceful and tidy with stunning sunset views over the coast and Tintagel on the hill. Water and black waste at small extra charge . About 15 walk down to the sandy cove, perfect sandy shallow beach/inlet, swimming , body board.

  • 5/5

this is our 2nd time visiting this spot. Last time was in 2020. nothing has changed same price. we planned to stay for 1 night ended up staying for 3. make sure you have £5 in cash. also must have to have a toilet in your camper. toilets get locked during the night

  • 5/5

Wonderful place to stay - must have own facilities overnight but there is a toilet nearby open during the day. Great cafe on site selling drinks, ice creams and cakes each day also. Very friendly owners who are so informative on the local area. On the coastal path into Tintagel or level walk in to the village along the road. There is a bus service too - if I could rate higher I would.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

The perfect short stay stop for Tintagel and local area. The grassy site is slightly sloping with great views out to sea. Dog friendly, no facilities, visiting vans must be self contained. The lovely owners charge a modest £1 per day parking and £5 per night. Right on the coastal path, there is loads to do and see nearby.

  • 5/5

what an amazing spot and views, The grassed car park is locked at 7pm for motorhome use and makes it a secure park up. £1 parking all day and a bargain £5 for a safe overnight park up . on a slight slope, so would benefit from ramps. Tintagel village is lovely and has bars and restaurants only 1/2 mile away. park is right on the coastal walk.

  • 5/5

Magnificent spot with amazing views. Really on of the best spots we had so far during our trip through the UK.

  • 1/5

Would be giving this spot 5 stars but on arrival 28/05/2024 approx 1pm gate was closed with no signs for a number to call to gain access even though there were other vehicles parked in field. Amazing spot with views unlike anywhere I've seen before. We decided while we parked just outside the field in very small car park to check out the coastal path and boy I'm glad we did!

  • 5/5

The view is stunning ! the toilet is now closed, so only vehicles with own facilities are allowed. It's close to the costal path and the bus stops right in front of the entrance. They close the gate between 7 and 8pm, so you need to be there earlier; then they give you the code and you can go in and out. 5£ per night. Absolutely suggested !

  • 4/5

  • 4/5

Closed until may 20th. turned up tonight and hoped to camp but they have an exclusive caravan camping club booking for next 10 nights

  • 5/5

An absolute favourite spot. Lovely owner, really accommodating and let us stay on the hard standing at the top even when the car park was closed because it was too wet. There is the most amazing beach straight down the path by the car park. It is a really stunning part of the coast path too.

  • 5/5

Owners Lynore & Mark so welcoming, call first as we stayed on the hard standing this past wknd as all the rain has meant the grass too soft so it has been closed Stunning views, so quiet. Gates are locked from 7pm - 7am code if you need to go early Great place to explore SWCP, Bossiney & Benoath Cove 10 min walk. 0.5 mile to Tintagel Grey & Black waste disposal, fresh water points at Tintagel

  • 5/5

brilliant place, stunning views friendly people. No chemical waste disposal & there's a sign on nearby public toilets asking campers not to empty their waste there or they will be closed. Please respect this. Also note that the contact phone number & email are not for this place. I used both & the lady I spoke to had no knowledge of this place.

  • 5/5

What a find - thank you everyone! £5 for the night, with the most spectacular views. Really friendly owner collects the money at 1900 (make sure you are there before this). A bit undulating but easy to chock up to level. Bigger vehicles park at the top as it does become slippery with the morning dew. Nori (owner) will leave you the gate combination if you have to get out. Outstanding find!

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great spot! Amazing views at 5-10min walk down the coast path to get to a beautiful swimming cove Bossiney Bay. It’s £1 for 8am-7pm and the owner comes round at 7pm to collect £5,and then locks the gate. You have to be there before to secure a spot. He gives the code in case of emergencies though

  • 5/5

Einfacher Platz bzw.

  • 2/5

sieht nett aus. ist aber abgeschlossen....

  • 5/5

    super views and no dramas

  • 2/5

Closed due to rain…. Drove here for nothing.

  • 5/5

Amazing place! Stayed for one night and did not want to leave. Make sure to be there before 7 pm since gates are locked at nighttime!

  • 5/5

Great spot, well worth the price! A little slopey, but definitely okay just for a night. You must have your own toilet, but lovely owner let us stay anyway when we promised to use ‘the emergency pot’ and dispose of when we got back home. Will be coming here again I’m sure :)

  • 5/5

stayed here for the night as everyone said in the comments lovely place to stay great views and slept soundly lovely lady collected the money this time his wife and was given the gate code will defenetly stay again

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

As others have said, the owner comes round around 19.00 and asks you if you have your own toilets facilities, takes £5 for the night and gives you the gate code. A lovely bloke. Stunning views, walks-a-plenty and a tea room across the road with toilets. They open at 10am and serve tea, cakes and even beers and cocktails! They seemed to close around 6ish but I think that is customer dependent.

  • 4/5

It is not true that only UK Caravan and Motorhome members can use this place. We stayed there for two nights. Daytime parking costs £1, and overnight parking costs £5. There is a toilet available at the entrance from 10 am to around 5 pm. Emptying chemical toilets is prohibited.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Great spot! As per other reviews £5 collected at 7pm. Gates are locked after that so get here before then. Code to get out is provided though. Owner says only vans with toilet facilities are permitted but seems flexible on this if you’re responsible. Great stay!

  • 5/5

Open! £5 per night collected at 7pm. Amazing views, we have the whole field to ourselves tonight :-)

  • 1/5

UK Caravan and Motorhome members only at the moment. The guy was really helpful though and recommended a spot down in Tintagel.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 2 nights in one of the public car park spaces next to the gate. (for free) Perfectly fine spot. Public toilets clearly say no dumping of chemical toilets or filling up water tanks so please stick to it otherwise restrictions will come in place. Busy with dog walkers and cafe opposite so have to be respectful to others around you. Very quiet at night.

  • 5/5

it's open again after bad weather!!! absolutely stunning views!! owners come around in the evening to collect money!!

  • 1/5

Closed. No one here. No number. Nothing.

  • 1/5

Gate closed:( Such a shame as it’s such a beautiful location!

  • 3/5

13.10.22 this is might be a seasonal car park, I arrived at 6:17 and it was locked up with no one inside. I’ll give it a 3 though because I’m sad I missed it.

  • 5/5

Perfect stopover. £5 overnight collected by the very friendly landowner around 7pm when the gate is locked. Was given the code for the gate incase I needed to leave. The views are fantastic, good walks, and access down to the coves for a swim (Bossinney cove is technically closed). You do need to bring water and have toilet facilities. Would definately stop here again

  • 5/5

stayed overnight, all alone and locked in, the field perfect, met the owners, lovely people they did say there isn't water in the field so you will need to take water and your toilet, forgot to say the owners will give you the number for the gate great stopover with great views

  • 1/5

  • 5/5

Wonderful views, really peacefull place. the owner allowed us to stay overnight as long as you have a toilet in you camper.

  • 5/5

Beautiful Spot, a couple of level spots. Very quiet. Unfortunately no running water.

  • 4/5

Beautiful views, you have to have a toilet in your van to stay here.

  • 5/5

Perfect. Lovely views. Worth the 5£! There was a ice cream guy near the entrance when we were there. :)

  • 5/5

Perfekter Parkplatz.

Alweer een must stop plek!

  • 5/5

One of the best overnight spots we ever came across. Still £5 for an overnight stay. The owner comes around when he and she closes the front gate in the evening around 7pm You need your own toilet in order to stay. Please keep this place clean. fresh water on site 30mins to 1 hour walk to tintagel castle via the costal path, depends on your fitness. Good views. Shops an pubs in tintagel!

  • 5/5

Great spot, only £5 per night per vehicle, you need to be self-contained. Farmer comes to collect £5 and lock the gate at 7pm, really friendly guy. Also has fresh water and some spots towards the bottom are fairly flat. Great spot to explore Tintangel and the surrounding area, the spot is right on the coastal path. Stayed two nights, would definitely recommend

  • 5/5

At the edge of the village Bossiney is where you can find (or miss) the entrance to the carpark. If you can go off "grid" it is perfect, cause there aren't any facilities. The farmer is really friendly and genuinely interested in where you came from. it costs 5 pounds a night, brilliant

  • 5/5

Sehr ruhiger Platz mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Z.Zt. £5 pro Fahrzeug und Nacht. Viel Platz, der weiter unten flacher wird.

  • 5/5

Great views and a great host

  • 5/5

stayed night...£5 for night. farmer came round about 7pm. very nice guy. excellent views. felt very safe.def use again...

  • 5/5

The most breathtaking view! Friendly land owner who comes around 7pm to collect payment and lock the gate. £5 for the night, you'll need to make sure you're self sustaining.

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Unfortunately doesn't seem to be open yet (08/04/22), gate closed and no signs to say when it might be opening. Looks like a lovely spot so have rated it as such, would have thought it would be open for the season by now though.

  • 1/5

Gates locked on 1st April 2022.

  • 5/5

Looks gorgeous but they actually lock the gate at 7pm and we got here at 8pm unfortunately!!

  • 5/5

Amazing views and brilliant for coastal walks. The farmer and his wife come around to collect the money at 7.00p.m very friendly.

  • 4/5

No signs up but overnight camping for £5. no facilities but great view.

  • 5/5

Amazing place to park feels very secure and will add they only allow those with own facilities at the moment

  • 5/5

Beautiful pitch! Gates close at 7pm and open around 7am. The owner of the field came around 8pm to collect £5 off us for staying the night. Quiet, peaceful and amazing views. No toilets, bins or water.

  • 5/5

Can’t stay here at present due to the farmer having a dispute with the council over campers. Would be beautiful if able to stay. Farmer lovely and friendly when closing car park and informing us we couldn’t stay x

  • 2/5

Gutted went today but the gate was locked. Looks absolutely amazing.

Incredible views and location. Farmer is really friendly, turns up about 7pm to lock the gates, happy for you to stay with a £5 per van charge, flexible to opening gates in morning if you need to leave early.

  • 5/5

Amazing views and quiet. You'll need levelling wedges. We (2 of us) paid £5 but didn't ask if that was per van or £2.50 per person - totally worth it.

  • 4/5

Toilets don't seem to be open anymore so 0 facilities now.

  • 1/5

Arrived sign says closed due to weather! We are only due rain half the day!

  • 5/5

We stayed here for 2 nights, while the pitch slips a little, it is a great place with amazing views, we walked to Tintagel as well as the local beach (Trethevy). While there are no amenities we will be back again

  • 4/5

Great parking spot with amazing views. Owner is super friendly. Cafe across the road with a direct walk down to Bossiney Cove - perfect spot for a swim! Unfortunately due to new council rules, campers without an inbuilt toilet are not permitted to stay overnight.

  • 5/5

Can be very busy in the day time, the owner comes at 7pm to collect money and lock the gate. There is a cafe and mini golf opposite and a 15 min walk to cliffs and at nectar glens waterfall (then another 30 through the nectar forest) - would stay again :)

  • 3/5

Lovely spot, toilets & gate locked at 7pm due to covid restrictions. 100% need level wedges. Amazing view. Lovely owner. £5 a night

  • 5/5

What a view, had the field to ourself..awesome..

  • 1/5

    car park closed

  • 5/5

Traumhafter Blick auf die Küste und Tintagel. Sehr freundliche Eigentümer, kommen abends vorbei zum Kassieren. Klare Empfehlung.

  • 5/5

Great location, friendly owners. The toilets that are on the other side of the gate have been closed so it's just a field, £2 per person is good for a great spot

  • 5/5

Great spot and was pretty quiet in August. We paid £2 per person per night and stayed two nights. Farmer comes round around 6 to collect money.Beach is great.

  • 3/5

  • 4/5

Fantastic view. The toilets are fine but close after 7pm. the farmers are really nice and easy going. The only downside is that the parking is on a little bit of a hill so a bit diffucult to park right.

  • 3/5

This place was great, beautiful views, lovely walks, but we didn’t stay overnight because most was sloping

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great find, lovely farmer, gate shuts at 7pm until 8am, when farmer collects fee of £2pp. toilets open other side of gate 24/7. nice walks from site. highly recommend

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Go through the village until you see red phone box. site on left. Great spot for an overnight £2 per person gates locked at 7pm-ish open at 8.15am-ish. Toilets available outside the gate no water available but owner said he might install at sometime. Slopping site definitely need levelling ramps..

  • 5/5

Great spot, cheap and a short walk to a lovely cove amazing views and Farmer was in no rush to move you on the next day

  • 5/5

Great over night stay. Owner comes round to collect the £2 per person fee.. really friendly guy.. great view. We used our levellers as it’s sloping..

  • 4/5

    Top Stellplatz!

  • 5/5

Awesome spot for a motor home sized vehicle. Incredible views, nice walks, not busy at all, and extremely quiet and peaceful. Costs £2 per person to stay overnight, well worth the money. Owner is incredibly friendly and we had a lovely chat with him. Fully recommended!!

  • 5/5

Toller Platz, unglaublich nette Leute!

  • 5/5

A small meadow with a slight slope, easy to level. £2 per person per night with the gate locked at 7pm when the owners collect the money. Amazing views, fanatic walks and Bossiney Cove is a beautiful place for a swim.

  • 5/5

Unfortunately there are no even level spots, but still loved it! Lovely people and the best beach, including a waterfall. Not too busy just perfect!

  • 4/5

  • 3/5

Hek gesloten helaas. Had een erg mooie plek geweest.

  • 5/5

What a perfect spot. This is why we love using this app. Found some real gems, this is one of them.

  • 4/5

    Unfortunately closed at the moment

  • 5/5

The price seems to increase regularly :) The owner asked us a couple of pounds for each person in the van. Still super cheap for such a great spot. There is a nice walk from the place all the way to the bottom of the cliff. Enjoyed the night there a lot. We were only three vans staying so pretty quiet.

  • 5/5

Epic view!! For £3 with free toilets it’s hard to past. Right on the coastal path and a nice walk to King Arthur’s castle this is top of my list. The owner comes around at 7pm to collect money and lock the gate and it opens again at 815am. Very peaceful sleep, 2 other campers and one of the rare places you can put your awning chairs and table out to sit back and watch the sunset

  • 1/5

Gates padlocked up so must be seasonal

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

The view is probably the most magnificent we had on our entire tour through Europe. The owners are super friendly and come around at 8pm for the £2. Bless the campers who found this sweet spot !

  • 5/5

This spot was one of the best we had so far on our roadtrip. during the day it is used as a normal carpark for walkers, dog owners and surfers. But during the night there were only three campervans staying the night (there is still enough privacy as the field is really big). at around 8pm the owners come and collect £2 from everyone who wants to stay the night. they close the gate, but you can jump over and still use the toilet facilities. We slept there for two nights and had a really good time staying there. highly recommended!!

  • 4/5

Staying here tonight. Great views and cow field next to us which the kids loved. Very cheap to stay, public toilets just at entrance. Slightly sloped hill but more levelled at the bottom. If its windy its not very sheltered but cant complain with the location.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. Cost us £2 to stay the night. Fab coastal walks beside the field. It rained a good bit the night we stayed and the next morning a another larger campervan had difficulty getting out. Just something to bare in mind perhaps if it's wet stay at the top of the slope.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 1 night. it was nice and quiet with 4 other vans overnight. nobody came round in the evening to collect money or lock the gate but we put the money in the honesty box as we left. would stay here again

  • 5/5

Really good spot. Cute little beach between the cliffs and a wonderful path following the cliffs. Perfect view on the sea.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great spot. Price is £1 for day parking - money goes in the slot in the white metal post by the gate, £2 for overnight which is collected when the gate is closed about 8pm. Toilets just outside the gate, 1 mile walk into Tintagel.

  • 5/5

Beautiful bay/cove down the hill and stunning views. Now £2 for the night gates are locked from 8pm-8am

  • 5/5

Took a pound for parking, but nobody was there to take our money, and it wasn't clear where to leave it! there were three other campers there overnight. loads of room to park and play with our dog, with toilets nearby and a great veiw!! A bit of a slope, as it's on the hill. just try and park somewhere level!

  • 5/5

Wow, views are incredible, you can walk as many hours as you want along the coastal path, accompanied by small streams and animals. Toilets available at parking
