Nice spot, plenty of spaces
Sutton Hall - pub et restaurant. Avait l'habitude d'avoir des installations pour le branchement électrique (le personnel du bar nous a dit) mais il n'y a pas beaucoup de gens qui restent maintenant. Ils étaient très heureux de nous accueillir avec notre grand camping-car. Ruelle étroite menant au pub mais nous sommes descendus bien dans notre long de 28 pieds, très occupé, très beau pub de pays.
Sutton Hall - pub and restaurant. Used to have facilities for electric hook up (we were told by bar staff) but don't have many people staying now. They were very happy to have us and our large campervan. Narrow lane leading to pub but we got down there ok in our 28ft long, Very busy, very lovely country pub.
Sutton Hall - Pub und Restaurant. Früher gab es Einrichtungen für den Stromanschluss (Barpersonal sagte es uns), aber jetzt bleiben nicht viele Leute. Sie freuten sich sehr, uns mit unserem großen Wohnmobil begrüßen zu dürfen. Schmale Gasse, die zur Kneipe führt, aber wir stiegen direkt in unsere 28 Fuß lange, sehr belebte, sehr schöne Landkneipe aus.
Sutton Hall: pub y restaurante. Solía tener instalaciones para la conexión eléctrica (el personal del bar nos dijo) pero no hay mucha gente que se quede ahora. Estaban muy contentos de recibirnos con nuestra gran autocaravana. Callejón estrecho que conduce al pub, pero nos bajamos directamente a nuestro pub rural de 28 pies de largo, muy concurrido y muy agradable.

Sono stati molto felici di accoglierci con il nostro grande camper. Vicolo stretto che conduce al pub, ma siamo scesi proprio nel nostro pub di campagna lungo 28 piedi, molto frequentato e molto carino.
Sutton Hall - pub en restaurant. Had vroeger voorzieningen voor elektrische aansluiting (het barpersoneel vertelde ons) maar er blijven nu niet veel mensen. Ze waren erg blij ons te verwelkomen met onze grote camper. Smal steegje dat naar de pub leidt, maar we stapten recht in onze 28 voet lange, erg drukke, erg leuke landelijke pub.

A lovely oldie worldy place very welcoming and friendly,food and drinks were top notch.The parking is mainly under large trees and at 23.00 the wind increased and we started to get battered with debris from a large Beech so had to move spots. I would definitely call here again.

Free to spend the night if you have a meal in the lovely restaurant. Food is nice, the garden lovely and the parking space accommodates larger vans or motorhomes well.
MikeMaxine19/03/2025Came for the night, asked the friendly bar staff if ok to stay over in our motorhome, told it was ok, had a couple of pints, charged normal rate for beer, surroundings are beautiful, bar staff kind and friendly, beautiful place, would highly recommend, especially for the bar, didn’t eat as we’d prepped for tea, will stay again and try the food, fantastic selection for tea’s, opens for breakfast etc, parking is level, lovely surroundings

Beautiful pub. Pints are reasonably priced at around £5. Roast dinner was £22, but absolutely delicious! Very friendly staff. Dog friendly. No issue staying - I did check on arrival. Very peaceful sleep.

Really nice grounds a staff very welcoming. Nice walks in the area and the canal runs by. Nice quiet stop over. Price of drinks however are very expensive but we had a couple rounds as it’s free to stop over. Restaurant is very cosy and traditional ?

Lovely little find near to canal. I rang ahead to check it was ok to stay, absolutely fine. Vans are parked along the field fence, very quiet, shaded with trees. went in pub, beautiful old building lots of little rooms and lovelygardens. Great food & drinks - prices very reasonable, staff very welcoming, had a singer on which was a nice bonus. Great little spot & dog friendly.

A great find, could become a regular stop on our France-Edinburgh-France route. Very friendly and helpful staff, exceptionally good food. Emailed in advance and booked a car park space overnight, booked evening meal online. It’s a pub with car park stay, but unlike any other - feels more like an invite to a weekend at a country house.

Stopped over for a night, phoned ahead and popped in to say hello to the bar staff, who were super friendly. No external facilities but pub opens at 9.30 for breakfast, which was v nice. Lovley and quiet site. Definitely recommended. If you get desperate and need facilities, there are a number of supermarkets near by.

Camped the night just ask or ring first, superb food, lovely grounds, staff excellent & welcoming. Excellent. Seems popular with walkers.

Un emplacement très agréable près d’un pub. Nous avons demandé la permission de rester pour la nuit et la réponse a tout de suite été positive. Il n’y a aucune installation mais pour un emplacement gratuit et aussi agréable, ce n’est vraiment pas un problème. Les balades autour du pub sont également très belles.

Pretty busy pub but for the right reason, the food is amazing! Also quite affordable. Lovely walks by the canal. I’ve asked at the pub if I’d be able to spend the night. They said yes straight away and didn’t ask for any fee. Two other campers stayed for the night

Highly recommended! The Hall / Pub / Restaurant is lovely with surrounding fields and the canal close by. We asked in advance of eating if we could stay in our camper van in the car park, which has lots of space, and they were more than happy. The food was great too.
