Great spot. Friendly staff. We had a lovely pint after our hike and hot showers. They are just men’s rugby showersk and have no doors but we were able to wait until later when it was quiet to use them. Hook ups aren’t for our use but all good. £10 for a nice quiet place to stay, toilets, showers, bins & water fill up well worth it

Fresh asphalt just got laid down around the drain on Nov 14th and couldn't access the site. But at least the pothole filled dirt road will be replaced with asphalt in the future.

  • 5/5

Fresh/grey/black services free to use, large bins available also, thank you!

  • 5/5

Omg what a find absolutely amazing and all for £10! Great value for money, showers and toilets available and if you like a cold dip, walk to the entrance of the rugby club turn right and make your way down the path. Beautiful running stream.

rang Wayne today to see if there were any spots. was told they are not currently taking any bookings due to resurfacing

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great stopover. Hard standing parking was fairly level. Water filling point and grey waste disposal. Showers and toilets available by code. Called ahead to book our spot for the night, as spaces are limited. We stayed one night. Events going on in club, so unable to eat or drink onsite. We walked into the town where there are a couple of pubs and plenty of places to get a takeaway.

  • 5/5

Amazing park up. All the facilities you need and friendly owner! Stayed on Sunday, one other van present and they have a carvery on a Sunday which was amazing. Deffos recommend.

  • 5/5

Stayed on Sunday night before getting the ferry from Holyhead. Great spot! One other van present. Clubhouse was closed so left £10 with my reg in the postbox on main black gates as othered had said. Filled water tank so was very pleased. There was some hedge trimming quite early but overall very quiet and felt safe.

  • 5/5

We rang Wayne from the top of a mountain to book for when we came down - his mobile number was available via a recorded message on the Club landline. Excellent, friendly stay - thankyou.

  • 4/5

Gerne wieder.

  • 5/5

Excellent facilities. Thank you to the community. Didn’t need to stopover but used the waste facilities. Couldn’t find the chap to pay so put money in honesty box. Thank you again

  • 5/5

Excellent stopover. £10 pn payable to Wayne in the Clubhouse when it’s open. If not, there’s a black honesty box on the gate. The bar is a great place to call in for a drink. They also serve food on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (carvery). See attached photo of menu. Some nice walks from the park up, including along the River Ogwen.

  • 5/5

Really good price for what it is. We were really needing a hot shower after the hike and the stuff was super friendly. Good priced pints in the club house, can't really recommend the food options.

  • 5/5

Super endroit, propre calme.

  • 5/5

Bar open, very welcoming, fantastic quiet stop over for the night. Felt secure, stunning views - will be back!

  • 5/5

well done to the rugby club , stayed last night very quite, as mentioned all the services on site plus hard standing, paid £10 nice walk along the near by river

  • 5/5

Was charged £10 for park up, just stopped on off chance & asked friendly chap behind the bar. Lovely walk on river behind. Saw there was elsan, water tap & bins.

  • 4/5

Easy and fairly flat space to park, portaloos available as well as water and dump point. The clubhouse wasn’t open on a Tuesday and we didn’t know where to find Wayne’s number? So no access to food or showers for us but still a great facility and would be even better when it’s open. Nice slate walk in the town nearby too.

  • 5/5

This is an excellent example of what an Aire in the Uk should be like. Everything you could need except electric. We used their showers too. The food we had was fantastic and home made. Flat parking too. Thank you. Best ring or message Wayne ahead if possible.

  • 5/5

If there were more stars I'd give them. Still ridiculously cheap at £6. We booked by phone before we arrived and paid by card in the clubhouse where we also had a cold pint of cider on the balcony with a great view of the mountains. You can get a bus from the main road up to the Ogwen valley. So friendly - we stayed a second night and everyone was happy to chat.

  • 5/5

Absolutely brilliant set up & such great value at only £6 a night. Water, waste disposal & plenty of room for lots of vans. Super friendly staff at clubhouse, where you can use toilets/showers & also eat dinner. Thank you!!

  • 5/5

Diolch to Wayne & Bethesda Clwb Rugbi for offering such great facilities. Grey drain, black and fresh water and bins. Great cakes in the village shop at the top of the road. Lovely walk along sustrans trail, wish we had bikes. Great views of mountains from carpark and it would have been a very quiet night if the wind hadn't decided to pick up!

  • 5/5

Fantstic to empty & fill tanks

  • 5/5

Emailed Wayne ahead and he replied really quickly, asked him the price for an overnight stop, which was £6, put the money in an envelope with the registration number and popped it in the letterbox on the main gate. Park around the back of the clubhouse, some potholes but loads of space, gets busy when there is evening training or if a match is on but no problems at all. Easy access to use the black waste emptying and fresh water refill, really quiet overnight and a brilliant value place to stay, thanks very much to Bethesda rugby club.

  • 5/5

We were greeted warmly as we arrived - a local who was just leaving the club - and he recommended a good spot for shelter from Storm Agnes. Good facilities for the £6 we paid (rubbish, grey and clean water). We didn’t venture out at all as the weather was awful!

  • 5/5

Freundlicher Empfang. Etwas voll geparkt, wenn hier Spielbetrieb ist. Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

  • 5/5

This is acampra accredited site and is now £10 as it has full facilities, black and grey waste, water, rubbish and recycling. The possibility of showers and toilets, if clubhouse is open during practice.. if nobody is there to meet you put £10 in the box on the entrance gate. This is on searchforsites and it states that you must book ahead. The contact details are on SearchForSites.

we had a fantastic time in our campervan staying here. the lovely lady that welcomed usvwasvso friendly and offered a lot of local knowledge. we had use of showes and toilets. we had a drink in the club, would definitely recommend. it cost us 6 pounds to camp for the night.

  • 5/5

This site is really handy and everything we need is here. It is actually just £10 per van, but there is also a campsite on the site which may have caused confusion with pricing. I think 6 vehicles are allowed. There's a well stocked Londis on the corner, bar at the rugby club on the weekend overlooking the mountains, and facilities are good.

  • 1/5

Arrived in a motor home this evening to be told £20 per adult & £10 per child! For 5 of us that would have been £70!!!! Needless to say we didn’t stay…

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Super lovely ground with nice folks working there. Hot shower and clean toilets. Slept with my doors open to enjoy the sound of the running stream close by.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Spent 2 nights here, as close proximity to Zip World ,Wayne and Spud really friendly , will definitely use again when in the area , cheers guys

  • 4/5

Great spot with services! All for £6! A rough hard standing ground with some pot holes coming in, but you have the essential services. This is a rugby club so there is a bar which is where you pay for the stay. Parking between a couple of rugby pitches means no great views, but for a stopover with services at £6 you can’t really complain.
