Très beau parking à distance de marche de la ville. Les pubs ont un caractère agréable. Peu de voitures bruyantes la nuit mais pas de mal. Situé près d'une piscine extérieure gratuite. Attention au courant. J'ai demandé à un homme local travaillant au QG de sauvetage de la rivière à proximité s'il pouvait se garer et il n'avait aucun problème, a été ravi de le conseiller. Jamais été dans cette ville auparavant mais aussi agréablement surpris.
Very nice parking in walking distance to town. Pubs have nice character. Few noisy cars at night but no harm. Located by a free outdoor swimming pool. Careful of current. I asked local man working in nearby river rescue HQ was it OK to park and he had no issues at all, was delighted to advise. Never been to this town before but as pleasantly surprised.
Sehr schöner Parkplatz in fußläufiger Entfernung zur Stadt. Pubs haben einen schönen Charakter. Nachts gibt es nur wenige laute Autos, aber kein Schaden. Liegt an einem kostenlosen Außenpool. Vorsicht vor Strom. Ich fragte einen ortsansässigen Mann, der im nahegelegenen Hauptquartier der Flussrettung arbeitete, ob das Parken in Ordnung sei, und er hatte überhaupt keine Probleme und beriet mich gern. Ich war noch nie in dieser Stadt, aber genauso angenehm überrascht.

Got the space beside the wall at the back, had a few cars beside me until 12pm, they weren't too noisy and didn't feel unsafe, great open space to walk, there's a river pool which looked fantastic

hholt19/04/2025wir waren am Karfreitag, für eine Nacht hier. Die Nacht war sehr unruhig, da sich hier Jugendliche mit ihren Autos getroffen haben.
MarielaureManu25/07/2024Belle situation à proximité des pubs, facile d'accès Terrain plat, WC fermés la nuit, douche extérieure. Très bruyant entre les jeunes qui traînent le soir, l'activité industrielle qui reprend dès 7h et les randonneurs

Beautiful quiet, lovely sheltered walls, toilets open when sauna mobile unit was here, 7pm to 10pm for us and again in the morning for cleaning, lovely cleaner couldn't have been nicer, he checked with us if we finished with them and other over nighters. Outdoor pool, coffee van with books and a chess/draught board, lovely. Short walk to the town, loads eaterys, Super Valu etc. Lovely small town.

Super little spot to stay overnight, the outdoor pool is brilliant and the water is currently warm! Very quiet, couple of minutes walk across the bridge to the Waterways Ireland toilets and showers which are accessible with the Waterways Ireland Smart Card. There are toilets at this location but they were only sporadically open. A little coffee truck was also open. Lots of very friendly locals.

Terrain facile d'accès, assez plat. En soirée pas mal de voitures et de personnes qui fréquentant le parc. La nuit fût calme, mais vers 8 h du matin le petit garage ouvre, et fait du bruit

Der Outdoor-Pool ist super, man schwimmt im klaren Wasser des Shannon. Parken würde ich eher auf der anderen Seite der Brücke bei der Marina. Dort gibt es Toiletten und Duschen.
