Tourner à gauche juste avant le péage pour accéder au parking avec accès à la rivière. Il y a généralement une table de pique-nique ou quelques bûches sur lesquelles s'asseoir. La rive de la rivière peut être un peu envahie par les orties, mais il y a une jetée utile s'il n'y a pas de bateaux amarrés.
Cela peut être un peu bruyant avec la circulation sur le pont et le bruit du centre scout à proximité.

Ouseburn Free Landing
Turn left just before the toll booth to get to car parking area with river access. There is usually a picnic table or a couple of logs to sit on. River bank can be a bit overgrown with nettles but there is a useful jetty if there are no boats moored up.
It can be a bit noisy with traffic over the bridge and noise from the nearby Scout Centre.

Height barrier installed sadly so could not access :(

I use this site often in the summer as a launch for canoe trips on the Ure. It's a 40min leisurely cycle ride back to Boroughbridge if you want to drop your bike off first to save padding back upstream. The Aldwark Arms is about a mile away across the river and The Lime Tree Inn about 2.5mile walk to Great Ouseburn/Branton Green. The Great Ouseburn village shop sells local produce.
