This quiet parking area overlooking the Cromarty Firth and Ben Wyvis is surrounded by farmland. Silver Wells Aire is named after a large natural spring, which is in the adjacent field. The Aire is run and maintained by the nearby farm. This car park is 50 yards from A9. There are no facilities on site. It has hard standing for 5 vehicles.
Visitors are welcome to use the outside area as long as you leave everything neat and tidy again.
Sorry, we can only accept visitors who are self contained ie have your own toilet facilities, as we have had people spoil the area in the past. Please take all your waste with you. Details of waste facilities can be found on

Beautiful place! It is close to the road, but once you are inside your van, you wont hear any of that. Stayed for one night and woke up with fog around us. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the stunning view. We got welcomed by a lovely lady in the morning and had a chat about the place. Don’t forget to leave a £10 donation.
Beautiful quiet spot, some road noise but not enough to bother us! Decent tv & EE signal. We pulled up around 9pm and left around 10am. Great stopover! £10 into the honesty box! Will defo use again!
Really lovely place to stop and park overnight, beautiful views, very clean and tidy, very friendly owner, lost one star as very near a busy road, noise starts at 4am
Great site and with a view that is up there. £10 is a cracking price and the owner is a lovely chap that is happy to share his local knowledge on places to see and local wild life. Perfect spot to a stay over for £10. Sadly some people have not been as decent as they can be. Arriving late and leaving early….. and yes, leaving without paying. Come on guys.. this is a family farm
What a great stop over, beautiful views and honesty box. Access can be directly from the A9 down a short private road without following the Sat Nav through the winding roads around the village. The owner tells me that a few people are shamefully arriving late and leaving early without paying. Play fair people.

Quiet little park up with cracking views across the water. Second time of staying. Perfect overnight before starting or finishing the NC500
Vistas preciosas, noche tranquila. No te permiten quedar si no llevas baño incorporado en el vehículo. La familia se acerca sobre las 18h y son muy amables, nos informaron del tiempo y lo que les pidas. 10£ noche. Puedes poner mesa y sillas en un trocito de cesped que tienen. Caben 5 caravanas puestas en “bateria”.
Très belle vue depuis ce parking. Emplacements plats. Aucun service de proposé et c'est interdit aux véhicules non autonomes. Très simple en paiement mais il faut 10 £ en espèces, les mettre dans une enveloppe et ensuite dans une boîte en dur. les propriétaires passent en fin de journée pour tout vérifier. La route napporte pas de nuisances.
Enfin un spot magnifique, avec une vue splendide,beaucoup d espace pour chacun,loin du monde,avec 5g. Et une propriétaire très accueillante. Paiement 10L, a l enveloppe ou a la dame. je vous le recommande.
Überaus liebe Besitzerin. Sie gibt viele nützliche Tipps für die Weiterreise. Außer uns war nur ein weiterer Camper hier. Man hört die A9 kaum. Absolute Empfehlung.

Fantastic site and owners said stay as long as you like only £10 a night absolute bargain. Room for 5 motorhomes and lovely views we were so lucky to see the owner feeding a red kite in his field. Would definitely stay again. Please use the longitude and latitude coordinates rather than the postcode to locate.
Great quiet site at the side of the A9. Owner is lovely, really friendly and full of useful advice and recommendations. Nice little feild for dogs to explore too! £10 honesty box is on site
Super spot et superbe vue! Il y a de la place pour 5 camping-car. Attention car les trop petits véhicules sans toilettes à l’intérieur ne sont pas autorisés.
a lovely peaceful night here. the lady came to greet us as she'd seen us go by, however there is an honesty box where you can get and envelope, write your reg plate on, put your money inside and pop it in the box. the lady had a chat with us and gave us some hints and tips for places to visit
When driving down the A9 looks for the sign warning of farm traffic and the road is between two posts. What a beautiful view, Very peaceful lots of birds. no fuss or bother exactly as described. lovely.
Great little stop, cheap enough even provides envelopes to put your money in, great idea, great views when the weathers nice, peaceful and quite, farmer stopped by to check things were OK and a chat nice and pleasant chap he was too. Thank you.
Wir sind mit Bedenken an diesen Punkt gefahren, da dieser Nah an der Hauptstraße liegt, wir haben aber einen schönen, ruhigen Stellplatz ohne Services ca. 200 Meter unter der Straße vorgefunden wo wir für £10 die Nacht stehen konnten und Geheimtipps von der Eigentümerin erhalten hatten. Der Ausblick ist super!

Amazing view and the owners are extremely nice and helpful. We wanted to go seal sightseeing and they showed us a great place, and provided very usefulinformationregarding fuel and food. The place itself is amazing, clean and with a great view. There's a contact number on the place in case you need, for the owners to come help you out.
Great for a 1 night stopover! Beautiful views across the cromarty firth. Friendly host who came and spoke to us, telling us about the wildlife in area. 5 hardstanding pitches. For £10 a night i would definitely recommend for the view alone. Close to A9 but to be honest we hardly heard the traffic.
Excellent même sans service. On entend pas la route. On est près d"Inverness. L'accueil est sympathique. Le terrain est plat. La vue sur le loch est superbe.
