Good spot at end of dead end street leading to beach half way up Druridge Bay. Very quiet after last of dog walkers left at about 8.00 on sunny Saturday evening. Two minutes walk to perfect beach. Still quiet at 8.00am next morning. Pleased to have found it as spots in this part of the world are few and far between.

Frequentata da cani e accompagnatori e ovviamente da camperisti. Raccomandata sulla strada verso la Scozia ...

Got here late Sunday after heavy rain! The place is flooded, but will do nicely and sure this will be great in better weather and look forward to returning in the summer

  • 4/5

Great place for a during the week getaway.. Stopped over late, early morning walk and dip in the sea.. Quiet area at night, few walkers in the morning..

  • 5/5

Perfect spot! Level parking, quiet & 2 mins from the beach!

  • 4/5

Super quiet weekday night. No view of the beach from parkup but it’s only a 5min walk. Saw the barn owl hunting around the van at dusk. It looks like there are a few short van spaces with no signs or restrictions on the grassy verge of the coast road. Will try it out next time

  • 5/5

Long uneven single track row to a limited spot for 3 vans. parking around the corner. Be mindful it's a very busy location for dog walkers, cyclists, bird watchers & joggers. No amenities so keep it clean. Great walks to be had & the beach is amazing hidden behind the large dunes & is soft sand. Beautiful spot, had very peaceful overnight & a barn owl greeting in the morning.

  • 5/5

Wie beschrieben, hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Standen alleine.

  • 4/5

Perfect area to park up... Road leading to the little car park has areas to park up... Quiet area with great walks to the beach, nature reserve... Great cycle tracks too...

  • 5/5

Just lovely!

  • 4/5

  • 2/5

we were here last week and moved to around the corner by the road towards this spot, as did the other motorhome. Its used by walkers at all hours and young kids

  • 5/5

Lovely place to stay with plenty of options to stop, beach close by - perfect place for a morning swim! Stopped with a few other vans - nice to see everyone respecting the area.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. The car park at the end and possible parking along the road.

  • 5/5

My little spot for car cay i keep going back too, so quiet and peaceful. Early morning walk on the beach with the dog doesn’t get much better

  • 4/5

Lovely spot not just the car park at the end but possible parking along the road with lovely views can get busy with dog walkers

  • 5/5

parked up around 6pm really quiet so far only a car camping in parking spot next to me bit a few up the road leading to it

  • 1/5

bang on top national trust phoned police..got moved on.23:00. not happy.

  • 4/5

Great spot for a night. Bird Reserve/wildlife area with lakes. Lots of parking pull ins as well as the actual parking. Our sat nav tried taking us down a farm track so beware, the actual road is opposite Red Row !!! Signposted to reserve. No services so please take rubbish etc with you. Returned for 2nd night 29th May. All good, lucky to see a Barn Owl.

  • 4/5

Stayed here 1 night. Unfortunately on arrival the exact camping spot listed was full with a group , with loud music playing the entire night. We stayed a bit further up and I managed with ear plugs. The beach the next day was great though

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

My first night car camping here, lovely quiet place, been around picking litter up from cars parked here today. Not in the corner but side of the road, proper sunset area.

  • 5/5

Lovely quiet spot. Room for 3 campers in the parking area at the end of the road, but room for a few more on the road leading up to it. Short walk to the beach. No bins so take all litter home with you and no services.

  • 5/5

*as a note, there are no facilities here so you will need a van with a toilet and water. Please don’t read my last comment as saying it’s ok to come without the necessaries!

  • 5/5

At the end of a road with places to stop both at the end & a few along the sides as you drive in. Good dog walking from the van; the beach is about a 5-10 minute walk. A bit of coming and going til about 10 at night, but after that it was a quiet & peaceful spot. It is a 3 minute drive from Druridge Bay Country Park which is very pretty & has toilets and a cafe.

  • 4/5

Stayed on a Wednesday night, very small carpark (3 spaces) There was one van already there and one on the entrance road into the car park, very quiet over night, the odd car turning up for dog walks, a little untidy but great spot for a night, good walks to the beach and nature reserve. 7.5m motorhome.

  • 4/5

Quiet and quick walk to the beach, the main part can fit 3 motorhomes, a small stretch before can fit 2/3 motorhomes or campers also. We found it a little tricky to manoeuvre our 9m motorhome when all the spaces in the main part were taken, however it is not impossible

  • 5/5

Quiet, peaceful place to stop for the night. Place for 3 vehicles and the some more before main part. Lovely walk to beach. Sat within nature.

  • 4/5

Space for 2 or 3 vans. Quiet with goods signal on EE. But puddles when it rains though, so need to choose your spot so you don’t step out into one

  • 5/5

very nice spot 4g was ok comeing back in summer.

  • 5/5

Lovely place to stop. Very quiet and easy access to a great beach. Far off the main road down a very pot holey track but worth it!

  • 5/5

great place to stop, beach only a few minutes away, fab walks with the dog around the nature reserve and they have a bird watching lake too. plenty of dog walkers during the day, just us and 1 other van.

  • 5/5

Great spot off the main road. Only van on the 13/12/24. Easy access to the coast and walks. Two cars came in between 12-1am, but left straight away. Twitchers and dog walkers from dawn. Would stay again. Only downside is that people have created a toilet area in the bushes.

  • 4/5

Lovely spot. Only really for small MH or van due to difficulties turning at end. Many potholes, but at the end parking for 2 or 3 vehicles and a couple on the road. Flat, very quiet til 7 with dog walkers arriving. Beach walks only 3 mins away. Visitor center 15 mins walk with cafe and toilets.

  • 4/5

We stayed a night here lovely sandy beach.

  • 4/5

Road is currently closed and there is no other way to reach this spot.

  • 4/5

Great place to walk the dog down the beach. Quiet little spot. I turned up at 5pm and was already 4 vans here. Two of the vans parked at the very end weren’t particularly considerate. Seems like a popular place.

  • 5/5

Perfect for the night. Very quiet; only the wound and the waves at night. Lots of very friendly dog-walkers. Road is really not that much of a problem for any reasonable car. Crossing another car might be an issue.

  • 4/5

Good peaceful little spot but was fairly busy when we got there around 8pm with 6 other vans there and several cars due to a swimming meet up. Once the swimmers left still room for vans at small car park and lane alongside it. Great spot for the beach, surrounded by nature reserve.

  • 5/5

A great little park-up! Our first night staying off a campsite and it was really peaceful. We arrived around 8pm and the park up was completely empty, 2 minute walk to the beach. Dog walkers started arriving around 7am the next morning but left us to it. Only around 2/3 other cars arrived. The road leading up to the park up is very potholed though so go careful! Would highly recommend!

  • 5/5

Long road bit bumpy in places and narrow . busy with cars and dog walkers leads you down to a dead end were you park you might struggle to get turned around if you have a big camper van . we stayed for 1 night and it was really peaceful , 2 minutes walk to the beach through the dunes and seen the highland cows

  • 3/5

Not suitable for motorhomes. Cars and campers up to VW transporters only. No 4G/5G. Otherwise nicely sheltered and very quiet.

  • 4/5

Isolated and quiet, it had rained the day before so there was groundwater everywhere. About a two minute walk to the beach but had to walk through a lot of mud to get there. Otherwise a lovely quiet night

  • 4/5

Fairly long and potholed/patchily repaired access road. Not one to be driven along quickly! More like a farm access track. Space for 3 van sized campers in the car park at the end, and probably another 3 or 4 on the road just before. Great spot to get onto the beach if you can tolerate the road. Not for large motor homes.

  • 4/5

Stayed here last night, the access road is fine if you drive down it slowly. There was one other van overnight with us and some dog walkers arrived in the morning. Dog waste bin round the corner which is ideal but unfortunately there was signs of some fly tipping to the back of the car park. Brilliant location for access to the beautiful Druridge Bay and decent phone signal on three network 18mbps

  • 4/5

the road in was a little rough and tight in places, and I wouldn't recommend it for anything much bigger that 7mtrs because if its busy with cars and dog walkers youll struggle to get turned around.. we stayed 2 nights and it was really peaceful...2 minutes walk to the beautiful beach through the dunes

  • 3/5

Satnav takes you 150m off main Rd but then travel nearly 2km along a single track, SEVERELY potholed road with few passing places. Upon reaching the end, which was a turning round point, as this road is a cul-de-sac, found it full with 2 cars and small MH. Able to reverse back 100 metres to a farmers track to turn round. Spent quiet night after lovely beach walk. No services at all. Small MH only
