(154 00) Camp Slivenec (Farm, Fruit Orchard)
Peaceful camping in a huge orchard with beautiful nature in a rural part of Prague called Slivenec. Upon entering the orchard, you will be greeted by the sound of falling water and a 100-year-old state-protected weeping willow with a majestic trunk. A wide range of trees attracts many species of songbirds, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. During the harvest season, you are welcome to eat organically grown fruit and nuts directly from the trees.
Hot showers, filling tanks with fresh water, disposal of chemical toilets and grey water are free of charge. There are 7 power stations with multiple sockets at the campsite. The campsite does'nt have a webpage yet as this camp has been recently reopened after 10 years. Prices are on the level of other Prague camps.
Within walking distance is the protected landscape area “Chuchelský Háj”, where you can visit the forest zoo with free entrance or refresh yourself with healing water directly from the Marián spring. Not far from the orchard, there is the possibility of swimming in an aqua park with salt water in the swimming pool, attractions for children and an outdoor pool. There are 4 restaurants in the neighborhood, the closest of which also cooks vegan dishes. Right across the entrance to the orchard there is a grocery store with fresh pastries, open 7 days a week from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm. Good connection by tram and bus to reach the city center within 30 minutes.
ATTENTION: Please use Google maps or Waze navigation to reach the camp, both should guide you well - there are road works going on in the village. You can call me if you are unsure.
Camp Slivenec is a premium camp on Park4Night, so everyone can see the phone number. Click on the grey phone icon and then “Phone number” to see the phone number, even if you are not a premium member. Please call in advance to make a booking. The gate is open until 9 pm (you can come later by prior arrangement). Please come in and call me if you don't see me or my parents outside. I speak English and German. I look forward to seeing you :)
