A brilliant parking place for both cars and campers. Overnight charge is £15, £5 for all day. It’s really accessible and very close to a lot of amenities like chip shops, co-op, pizza places and cafes. Alan was very helpful and gave great advice. Would definitely stay here again and we highly recommend it. Thank you Alan for a great space to stay.
Great parking spot in Barmouth. £15 for secure locked overnight parking. Short walk to public toilets. Right in centre of town for pubs and restaurants. We did look for a ‘free spot’ in town but was a lot of faffing. We stayed Saturday night and although there was a Sunday Market you can leave between 06:30 and 10:30. Because of the market spaces are limited on Saturday night to around 20 spot.
Entrance next to the Factory shop on the high street. If gates are locked call Alan he will let you in. The only downside if staying overnight on Saturday there’s a Sunday market in the car park, you get blocked in until 5pm. It was very noisy during the night when a train came past at 4am and the market stall holders pitched up at 5.30am also people coming out of the pub were noisy.
TOO expensive... £10 per day and £15 overnight. £25 for 24hrs you can get better value on a campsite with all facilities. Yes right in center of town but GREED comes to mind.
Lovely guy, Alyn looks after the car park and the gates shut at 6.30pm. Central to the town , beach, railway station and all the cafes, restaurants and bars. Great place to stay, very secure and would be quiet but for the seagulls that are active constantly. Would be advised to take earplugs to avoid the dawn chorus but amazing to hear them.
Stayed here on 17/07/24, as stated previously, Alan looked after us. We lunched at The Last Inn, with our evening meal at the Barmouth Bar & Grill. This is a secured carpark with no passing traffic after 20:30ish. That said, the seagulls are active and will sing to you all night. I really love Barmouth. It's an awesome place to be.
Services are free… because there are no services. Toilets are 5 mins walk at the railway station but they get locked at night. On the plus side, it has secure gates, a friendly pub across the road, great fish and chips at the Mermaid … and best of all the Beachside Cafe down the road, which opens at 6 am and does a mean breakfast. Was told to arrive at 6.30 pm as gates are locked at 7pm.
Secure parking £15 for the night. Lovely gentleman on the gate.
Stayed Saturday night, great secure location- would stay again.
A second stay for us. Loads of room despite it being half term. Beach walk in the day, bars and so many lovely restaurants to choose from in the evening and then a 20 round trip bike ride to Dolgellau along the off road trail today. £15 for the night & £10 per day either side but until the season starts free to park on the street during the day so we moved at breakfast time before the bike ride.
Stayed last night. Great secure carpark right in the town, close to bars and restaurants. Toilets are next to the train station. Alyn only charged us £10 for the night. Great night's sleep nice and quiet. Few other vans there too. Carpark flat.
We are staying here tonight for the first time and it is brilliant. S We've had a couple of drinks in bars & the boys have ridden their bikes up and down the prom. We are gutted we have booked a site for tom night. We arrived at 2pm paid daily rate and nightly rate £25. Note the gate is locked at 6pm so can't arrive after as the gate is locked. Full CCTV and emergency contact. Off for 10.30am
I stayed here the night before last. I was parked just outside Barmouth in a lovely layby overlooking the estuary but unfortunately no overnighting allowed. Had a wander around and spoke to Andy at the car park and he agreed to wave the daytime charge, even though it was only 2pm. So 2pm till 8am for £15. Everything close by and very quiet at night. Warning, the seagulls rise early.
Je vous le déconseille. C’est très cher pour ce que c’est . Il n’y a rien. Vu sur les poubelles des voisins.
