paid £35 for 2 adults and 2 kids for one night. ridiculous price to stay on a grass hill. toilet and shower are cleanish. but no other amenities. wouldn't come back.

Dreamachine09/09/2024Traditional farm campsite, not far off main road.Stayed Wed night. Breeze block building with showers, toilets & washing up facilities. Good value at £10 a night however need min £2.50 in change to have a shower. can book via pitch up. Unfortunately on a hill, some flatter spots at the top definitely need levellers, wellies/crocs for wet grass & a decent torch.Great spot for star gazing

Our first proper overnight stopover. My partner remembered this site from years ago. Extremely helpful and accommodating.

Owners very accommodating to our arrival slightly outside their stated times. Large field with lots of others on, still lots of space, ahough sloping managed to get a decent spot. Lovely view depending which way you face. Grass quite long so take boots/wellies. Toilets rustic but do the job. Washing area for pots. Only downside is bumpy drive & some sharp turns to get to but go slow & be fine!
