(PL14 6HQ) Carnglaze Caverns

Had a lovely night here but the Caverns were closed for an end of summer staff party! Will definitely go back as caverns sound amazing. Such lovely people who run the place, they guided us towards the local village pub, an easy stroll.

Brilliant spot for the night, cannot complain at £5 with toilets available overnight too. We were the only ones there on the Friday of Bank Holiday. So quiet and peaceful, falling asleep and waking up listening to the stream was so lovely. The lady (owner / manager, I'm not sure) and staff were all so lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be heading back to stay again. Highly recommend.

A breath of fresh air in camping unfriendly England. Super site, level, spacious, wonderful owners, friendly staff… what more could you want? Oh, it’s a lot more than a parking place. They have underground caverns to explore, a quaint cafe and garden walk, a nearby pub (walk the dirt road from the overflow parking, not the main road). And, everything is a reasonable price. Highly recommended!!!

Great place to stop. Toilets spotless, friendly staff. We paid cash when we arrived £5. Would stop again if passing. We were the only camper there and had a lovely walk in the morning. Very close pub too if you wanted.

Stayed here in our capervan last night and only 1 other motorhome. Very friendly staff made us feel very welcome and toilets spotless. Visited the Caverns with a fairy trail great for our kids.

What a beautiful little spot owner’s where super friendly and helpful the fairy walk was well worth the the walk up the stairs with plenty of seating spots I will be back a lovely stop for the tourists

Super schöner Ort für die Durchreise - saubere Toiletten. Netter Besitzer. 5 Pfund sind es wirklich wert :) man fühlt sich wie im Dschungel bei der Geräuschkulisse - wirklich selten so schön auf einem Parkplatz übernachtet. Wir waren ganz alleine. Online vorab bezahlt

Wunderschöner Platz, für 5£ pro Nacht. Die Höhlen sind absolut sehenswert und der kleine Spaziergang durch den „Feenwald“ ein Muss. Der Landlord ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt auch immer wieder Veranstaltungen in der großen Höhle, wir hatten Glück und konnten ein Folk-Konzert besuchen. Am besten vorher mal googlen - lohnt sich. Also nicht vorbeifahren!

Lovely quiet place to stop over. Toilets are open all the time. Very friendly staff. Gift shop and cafe. The circular path for the woodland walk goes from the car park and ends up in the fairy garden. So peaceful.

Great spot. The owners of the Caverns allow park ups and I think there may be toilets now. Parked here to attend a gig and booked to camp online. Worked out perfect as we woke up and bought a ticket to explore the caverns the next day, lovely gift shop and cafe too. Will stay again!

Die Strasse zum Parkplatz hoch ist sehr schmal ca. 2.8m. Die Höhle ist sehr schön anzusehen.

Aardige eigenaren. 2 nachten rustig geslapen. De kinderen vonden het bezoek aan de verlaten mijn ook erg leuk. Bezoek aan de mijn is trouwens niet verplicht. Wij zijn gewoon aankomen rijden en hadden niet gereserveerd. Goeie plek!

Brilliant spot. Well worth staying here for the peace and quiet, and a trip down the caverns in the morning. Have to book your camper spot online, which is pretty simple (I can't post the link but just Google Carnglas Caverns > Purchase Tickets. Bumped into the hosts/owners too. Lovely, warm people, if a little quirky! Highly recommended!

Lovely location. Nice walks by the river and to village pub. Would have 5 stars but no real facilities. It's not a campsite, more like an Aire. Flat car park area. Bats and owls flying around at night. No light pollution. Would come again and visit the underground caverns next time.
