Called to check for a stay and was told that Brewery has stopped them allowing stays. So unfortunately not a stop any more.

howger19/02/2025Handy stopover from the M1. Big car park with plenty of space. Staff in the pub were very welcoming. There was no pressure to have food or drink but we did of course go in for a drink. The beer was excellent. Quiet overnight and road noise not troublesome in the morning.

Excellent quiet location, the car park goes right round the building and we parked behind the pub. Sensible drinks prices and friendly service.

Did the job for a quick stop over. Staff were friendly, arrived too late for food so just got a drink and settled in for the night, tucked away at the back of the carpark. No complaints, a comfy night. Thank you :)

Pause sympa pour boire un coup dans ce pub de ville, nous sommes arrivés trop tard pour manger, dame gentille, bière top dans un cadre cosy. Nous n'avons pas dormi sur place.

Stayed overnight here last night. A lovely little pub. Drink offers on. Food was amazing. Well priced and yummy. Bar staff were really helpful. A quiet place to sleep, had no issues. Didn’t need to book. Car park is a good size. It isn’t level so chocks may be needed. But overall a great pub stopover!

Called at this super friendly pub last night, wanting food. Although food service stopped at 7.00pm and last orders taken at 6.40pm they still happily took our order at 6.50pm. We had 2x steak pie chips and veg for £15.90 and it was amazing! As good a pie as we have ever tasted! Fantastic! We didn’t stay overnight on this occasion but it would not have been a problem to do so!
