Thorpe cloud view camping is set in a great area with fantastic views. Set in a great place for starting hikes and within driving distance to lots of popular walks in the Peak District. Fire pits available for free aswell as a tripod to have a nice bbq, logs are available to purchase on site. Toilet and shower block on site that is kept clean and tidy. Showers have great pressure and are nice and hot. Ed the owner is a nice friendly chap who is very welcoming and more then happy to help. We found him on pitch up. Fantastische Aussicht!!! Wir kamen Abends um 20 Uhr an und haben uns auf den Platz gestellt. Ed kam am nächsten Morgen und wir haben via ApplePay bezahlt. Ohne Reservierung völlig easy oder wie Ed sagte: Chill - No Problem. 25£ pro Nacht ( 2 people + Van)
We’re remote workers and there’s full signal here for 4G and 5G, lovely people here Ed and Jane were so lovely and showed us the shower facilities and toilets and even provided us with hookup ! We have two dogs and could easily let them off lead exploring had such a good experience here !
Absolutely amazing campsite! Beautiful views and friendly owners. Camping is is an elevated meadow and not many flat pitches so take chocks. Showers are divine and very clean and toilets good too. Fire pit usage is free and they sell wood. Only me and a couple here and I loved walking the dog bare foot around the meadow (checking for ticks after of course!) for sunrise. £20 pn mid week.
