Found this place while in the area, was only one other camper so a bit too quiet and remote for us. The opening is NOT an issue, we are a standard 7.3 x 2.4 and managed no problem. Yes we didn’t stay the night but seemed perfectly adequate and quiet.
Smaller than it looks in the picture. there's a 6 foot 6 width limit so only good for narrow vans. Great location, though
Sehr ruhiger Ort , einige Spaziergänger mit Hund. Etwas unebener Platz. Wohnmobil 6,40 lang , 2,30 breit und 3,10 hoch passt ohne Probleme.
Der Platz ist schön gelegen, aber schon sehr uneben mit vielen Schlaglöchern. Viele Einheimische kommen mit ihren Hunden hier hin zum spazieren gehen.

Ruhiger, schöner Parkplatz. Busstation 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Hauptsächlich von Spaziergängern frequentiert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
Ok for a night but it isn’t flat here. It’s on a slope. Dog bins are available. Got my crafter lwb in through the barriers fine no problems. Very quiet.
Lovely place for a stop over, very quiet with lots of walks, car park not very level. Width restriction signposted but we managed to enter the car park fine with 2.3 wide Motorhome.
Quiet and unlit gravel car park, potholes in places. Width restriction posts but with no indicated dimensions. Motorhomes and van-sized vehicles will fit, but caravans possibly not. Nice area of common land to walk around.
Quiet place to park overnight in a lovely woods setting. Ground is very uneven. We slept on a slope.
simple one night stop area no problems one other car camper and one small van camper joined us, felt safe and slept soundly.
Lovely spot. Very quiet and pretty area. Great dog walking. Some vehicles came and went early evening and early morning but no noise overnight. Trees on two sides provide some shade.
Good spot for an overnight. The sandy car park wasn’t very level so we parked just outside the perimeter on a bit of hard standing. Quiet and no disturbances. Sat Nav was having a moment and made it difficult for us to find.
Lovely quiet parkup, stayed overnight, will definitely be back. The entrance to the car park has posts each side so anything caravan width won't get in but loads of width space for my Vivaro.
