Great overnight free after 18:00. A beautiful and huge park right next door with clean toilets. A picturesque town with great shopping and restaurants!

I think this is one of the best parking place in this town. walking distance to city center, had a calm night here with free of charge until 8am.

Lovely stop over. Free from 6pm-8am. Toilets close by in the abbey gardens, locked overnight. Short walk to the town centre. Peaceful night. Traffic warden was checking cars the next morning, so make sure you get a ticket from 8am

Parcheggio a pagamento vicino al centro. Il nostro camper di 7 metri ci è stato a malapena di giorno incastrato in un angolo, ma per qualche ora va bene. Pagamento con carta di credito 2 pound all ora.

Great place for a smaller van. We had a nice quiet night with no issues. Busy carpark during the day. Free toilets in park and quick and easy walk into town.

Lovely place with free, clean public toilets in the park. Very close to shops and restaurants. Quite at night. Free for the night and no issues whatsoever.

8/2/25 Stayed here Sat night in February. Very quiet overnight and well placed for visiting the town. Not sure it’s best suited to big motorhomes as only standard size bays. Would stay again.

A superb flat, clean car park situated behind the Abbey, so very easy access on foot to the lovely town. Very quiet during the night. Highly recommend this place.

Nuit tranquille au calme. Bien choisir sa place et vous aurez un emplacement plat. Le gens commencent à partir en voiture à partir de 7h, avant l’endroit est super calme. Je recommande pour une nuit et la visite de la ville. Seul bémol, à 10h nous avons dû quitter car nous prenions 2 places et soit disant le véhicule était trop long. Sommes sortis avons fait 100m et trouvé une autre place.

Gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit. Öffentliche Toiletten sind 150m entfernt: durch den Park, richtung Süden.

Lovely quiet parking spot right next to cathedral and a lake, few min walk from town centre quiet and free 6pm -8am

Perfekter Platz für 1 Nacht. Kam um 22.30 an, P fast leer und gut beleuchtet. Für mich als Frau allein ein sehr sicher wirkender Ort, kein Verkehr oder sonstige Störungen nachts. P füllt sich schnell ab 8.30 (Wochentag). 9.20£ für 10 Std. finde ich für so einen gut gepflegten Platz ok. P minimal abfallend, sehr ok für 1 Nacht. Cirencester ist einen Stop wert.

Stayed here for one night and it was peaceful. We parked on the left as you go in as the spaces are the longest. It's right in the centre and the Abbey next to it, is lovely for a morning stroll.

Geart park up. Stay for one night on our way home. Very clean, toilet nearby. Short walk to the centre a lovely dog next to the car park.

Kleinere Wohnmobile bis ca. 5.50m haben gut Platz, vorallem rechts. Es sind keine Anhänger oder Wohnwagen erlaubt. Platz ist recht eben. Am Sonntag morgen kann man bis 12h stehen bleiben. 30 Min. kosten 1£.

Very quiet car park free 6pm-8am, big park for dogs to run on next door with toilets open 8-4pm. Police patrolled through & didn’t ask us to move on.

Good spot for an overnight stay. The bays mostly look level but where I parked (in the bays on the left as you enter) there is a very slight lean. even though it is technically free over night. you have to display a ticket and the machine will only allow you to print a ticket if you buy some time. £1.

Great, no toilets but peaceful

Parked Saturday evening until Sunday morning, free and no bother in 6m van. There's 2 spaces at the back of car park was best spot as nobody next to us. Nice park to walk through to the shops.

Spent a peaceful night and got up in time to pay for more parking, then walked round the town. Came back to discover a £50 penalty notice because we were overhanging the marked bay at the front (5.9m van). Soured a very pleasant stay!

A fantastic place to park right in the middle of Cirencester. The Abbey car park is about 2 or 3 minutes walk from the town centre. It has lighting and CCTV so feels really safe. Very quiet we had a lovely night's sleep. We have a 7m motorhome parked in the corner with the back over hanging the grass just fitted.

Toilets nearby, in town, next to a really nice park. Second favourite overnight stay so far

Very handy spot with a quiet corner to set up in, (which gave some shade from the 24hr lighting). Right by the town.

Very good & quiet, just the church bells in the background (not too loud!), but anything over a 6m & you'll be sticking way out into the car park even on the overhang spaces. It's also very narrow getting in, even with a 6m I had to shunt back & forth to stop catching the kerbs. Park next door, idéal if you have a dog & very close to town.

here now. great car park, safe, quiet, level. bays are car sized, my Trafic lwb just fits reversed in. can be full during the day but people start to leave about 4pm. card payment only and ticket runs to next day so no night restrictions and Cirencester is a lovely town too.

Stayed last night. Great spot. Usual town noises and the odd coming and going but nothing much for a Friday night and felt safe. Literally 2 mins walk into the centre of town and porta loos in the park. One other turned up later in the evening. Recommended.

I arrived at lunchtime & managed to find a space in the corner under the trees. Didn't mind paying the full fee as it rolled over the next day. My evening/ night was quiet & very safe. I explored the Abbey, Abbey grounds & the old town. Some of the shops are quirky & not of the norm which is great for buying gifts. The Abbey holds alot of history & the grounds itself has remains of an old Fort.
