No signs to say no overnight parking, as there are in Mallaig. Mallaig council need to provide more parking for motorhomes. Shocking parking by motorhome owners on pavements honestly no wonder we get a bad name.
Parking en bordure de la route A830. Le trafic est relativement modéré mais il existe. À 1 minute en voiture de Mallaig, avec une vue magnifique sur la mer des Hébrides et l'île de Skye. Le spot idéal avant d'aller prendre le ferry !
Parking on the edge of the A830 road. The traffic is relatively moderate but it does exist. 1 minute drive from Mallaig, with wonderful views of the Sea of Hebrides and the Isle of Skye. The ideal spot before going to take the ferry!
Parken am Rand der Straße A830. Der Verkehr ist relativ moderat, aber vorhanden. 1 Minute Fahrt von Mallaig entfernt, mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer der Hebriden und die Isle of Skye. Der ideale Ort, bevor es auf die Fähre geht!

moose011410/11/2024Ok to park up and leave a vehicle when catching a boat to the islands or Inverie for a few days. Quite a long layby so easy to be well away from the entrance to the unused helipad. 20 minutes away from the harbour.
RovingEllie29/07/2024Road is noisy but quiet after 9pm. Some of the lorries made our motorhome feel like it was falling into the sea! Tried the one further out and up the hill but it was full. The views are beautiful and we watched the Jacobite steam train. Not the best but when needs must it was ok. Tried to use the facilities at he car park towards Mallaig but it was full and we couldn't get near it, 22/7/24.
