Quite a small campsite. All hardened pitches, pitches quite spacey. You pay extra for awnings. -1 star for the showers, which you operate with 50p cents and which turn off after some time. When we used them, the ladies’ were hot, the mens’ were lukewarm. Call ahead to book. Very warmly welcomed
Nette camperplaats/camping. En mevrouw is er zuinig op, dat dit negatieve reviews geeft vindt ik bijzonder. Ik sta hier één nacht met verzoek om morgen wel voor 11u te vertrekken, want de paarden races zijn er deze week. nou, geen probleem. alles ziet er keurig uit en op de fiets naar York is een aanrader.
Very nice garden like arrangement of places. Calm, all necessary facilities, simple but clean and well maintained facilities. Very convenient cycle way (ca.3km, 20min) to the town centre of York. Cash payment only.
Nice private spot just out of York centre, 10 min cab drive into town if you want to see the amazing sites in York. hedges all around site provide shelter. Pitches are riverstone pebbles..even better than gravel. nice and level. Friendly and welcoming owner who was very thorough in showing us facilities. cheap place to stay in comparison to others around. great showers and clean facilities.
Esperienza molto simile a quella di youennB nonostante, nel nostro caso, il camper sia uno solo. Area praticamente vuota ma la signora ha detto che non c'era posto perché attendeva arrivi.
Bardzo fajna lokalizacja na zwiedzanie Yorku rowerem. Ładna i bezpieczna trasa rowerowa do starego miasta, do Katedry 15 min. Przestronne parcele dla camperow, spore przestrzenie. Całość otoczona wielkim żywopłotem. sielsko i spokojnie mimo bliskości miasta. sanitariaty skromne ale czyściutkie. prysznic dodatkowo płatny 0,50 £.

Feste gerade Standplätze.Leichte Erreichbarkeit der Yorker Innenstadt.Bus fährt fast vor der Tür. Fährt bis Spät Abends.Ein Stern für den unkomplizierten Empfang. Tel. zwei Tage vorher gebucht.Sanitärhaus ist zwar klein ,aber technisch auf Stand. Das Trinkwasser ist ( wie meist auf englischen Campinplätzen) gechlort und nicht zum pur trinken geeignet. mauvaise expérience nous étions trois, en nous voyant ça a été non sous prétexte que c'était complet. pas de bol on est repassé par hasard en fin de journée et il y avait toujours de la place. devant son refus nous avons demandé à prendre de l'eau (en payant), la dame a d'abord dit oui, ....puis non! "au revoir il y a un autre camping plus loin" et au final celui-ci (boatpark) fut parfait !!
heerlijke camping bij een boerderij. de eigenaresse is een hele vriendelijke vrouw en je kunt haar alles vragen en heeft ook nog leuke tips voor de omgeving. sanitaire is keurig onderhouden en honden zijn welkom.

Idealgelegener Farm-Campingplatz um von hier aus York zu besuchen. Fahrradweg dem Fluss Ouse entlang ins Stadtzentrum (ca. 15 Minuten). Freundlicher Empfang, schöne und gepflegte Plätze und einfache aber sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen. Preis £ 30.00 für Stellplatz 2 Personen mit Campervan plus Elektroanschluss.
sehr zu empfehlen, netter freundlicher Empfang, spontan noch Platz bekommen ohne Reservierung, schön angelegter Platz, Strom 16A, V/E, guter Internetempfang am Platz, kurzer Weg mit dem Rad in die City, preislich o.k., aber leider nur Barzahlung!
Hemos ido 3 personas adultas con una camper y nos han dicho que solo aceptan a 2 personas por caravana.. Y que no nos podíamos quedar.. Ya por eso le doy solo 1 estrella…
Ruhiger, kleiner Platz, große Stellplätze und nicht weit bis zur Stadt. Wir waren 07/2023 hier und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Stellplatz kostet 30 Pfund (Strom incl.), Duschen 1/2 Pfund. Nur Cash Zahlung war möglich.
Fantástica Granja/Camping para visitar York. Las instalaciones impecables. El lugar es pequeño y acogedor con suelo de grava y césped muy bien cuidado. Es una granja en uso con naves abiertas con herramientas y utensilios de agricultura, igual por eso no se aceptan niños. 35 minutos caminando a York a lo largo del rio y 10 min mas hasta el centro. 30£ 2 pax Autocaravana y en efectivo.
Mauvaise expérience : payement uniquement en cash (30 pounds la nuit) + 50 pences la douche ( en monnaie exacte uniquement !! ) et surtout ENFANTS INTERDITS… et zéro sourire de la part des propriétaires !
