safe enough for a late airport pick up night. got here at 2am. quiet no disturbances. woke up at 9 with the car park full. a tactical place to stay over. very good
Lifeisforliving17/07/2025We’re in a large Motorhome 7.2m and received a parking ticket, this place is not free to Park! It would be ok if you’re in a smaller camper but you cannot take up more than one parking bay so makes parking an impossibility! Nice stop though for those that can fit!

Parked here and had a peaceful night. Car park has about 60 spaces but most are on a gradient. The most level spots are by the trees. Well lit. Handy for centre of Marple Bridge and Marple station

have to say didn't feel safe in this spot so moved on was lots of passing people
JennyK310/06/2024I had a great night here, arrived around 8.30pm, found a spot near the back which is the most flat and under the trees. Was very quiet until some traffic around 6.30am but I fell back asleep no problem.

As a single traveller I like to stay in a quiet spot, but close to assistance and with a phone signal and this had all those things I stayed over on a saturday night and tucked away in the far corner had a quiet uneventful night. Is on a slight slope but not a problem.

Great car park. Trouble free stay. Bit of noise from the local pubs but it was Saturday night . Ate at the Norfolk arms , great friendly staff and dog friendly too.

Stayed here on a Fri night. Well lit, but also felt secluded. No trouble whatsoever. Car park quite full in the morning. Great walk along the river in the morning.
