(EX20 4BL) Lydford - The Station

Absolutely fantastic wild camping on the moors. Danielle was so welcoming and helpful. We were lucky enough to have the site to ourselves all weekend which was such a treat! The fields are very flat, and we had a super quiet peaceful nights sleep on both nights. The site is also secure which is perfect if you’re travelling with dogs. Thank you so much- we can’t wait to come back already!

Erg vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren. Mooie rustige plek. De Lydford Gorge en waterval liggen vlakbij.Er is een WC aanwezig. Prachtige omgeving.

Beautiful quiet spot, very sheltered and well kept! Easy access (I drive a LWB HT) and plenty of choice of where to pitch. Only services are a toilet with sink but very well kept and clean. Owners are lovely… Danielle and Dave… great communications and very helpful! Will definitely be coming back!

Fabulous property to stay at - Danielle was super helpful and responsive, £10 per night for one person in a van, and it's a lovely quiet place to stay. Perfect for visiting Lydford Gorge and/or cycling around the area. Not far to great walks up on the moor. Just a clean, flush toilet provided, but totally worth staying here!

Absolute paradise if you are self contained I would recommend a stop. They have a lovely toilet and the owner states they are continuing to improve. But this is really as wild as it gets. Just stunning, I didn’t want to leave. We were the only ones there and the owner Danielle is delightful to deal with. A cracker of a place, don’t miss it!!

Peaceful site in the middle of nature. Owners are super friendly and helpful. Basic but clean toilet. 2 minutes walk to NT Lydford gorge. Within 2 miles you have Devils cauldron, Lydford castle and the Granite way cycle path to Okehampton

Wir parkten auf einer tollen, ruhigen kleine Wiese (es gibt aber auch noch eine Größere) direkt gegenüber vom National Trust Parkplatz. Der Eingang liegt schräg in der Kurve. Kleine simpel Toilette, kein Strom. Wir hatten es ganz für uns alleine. Die Besitzer sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Nummer steht auf dem Tor.

Fantastic quiet spot, great for nearby walks and seeing the stars. Basic toilet facilities which are clean and the host is very helpful. Kids and dogs loved it!
