It's a huge site and standard DoC basic facilities ie vault toilets and tanked water that needs to be boiled or filtered. No phone signal whatsoever! Lovely spot in reasonable weather and it's such a big site there's plenty of room to spread out. There must be at least 10 toilet buildings each with 2 toilets. Book online on DoC website or pay cash on arrival. $15 per person.
We stopped by to make food and have a drink on the way back from Milford Sound. It’s a really big site. We didn’t see anyone or a facility where we would pay how do we have stayed so not sure if this is now a free site or if it is paid online. The toilets were clean and there was a space to use freshwater to wash dishes, etc. we would’ve happily have stayed here for the night had we have not been returning to Te Anau.
Très grand camping, magnifique vue, possibilité d'être sous les arbres à l'abri de la pluie. Toilettes et eau non potable à disposition. Proche des randonnées et derniers camping avant Milford Sound
très bel endroit. dernière possibilité de s'arrêter pour la nuit avant Milford Sound. le matin les toilettes sont très odorantes
Sehr grosse Campsite des DOC (Department of Conservation) - also einfache WCs, keine Duschen, keine Abfalltonnen aber Kochgelegenheiten. Liegt wunderschön im grünen Tal zwischen zwei Flüssen in der Nähe des Lake Gunn und in genügender Entfernung zur Te Anau Milford Highway. So gross, dass wohl jeder Camper stets einen Platz findet. Viele verschiedene Stellmöglichkeiten.
8 euros par personne pour un accès à des toilettes sales, c’est cher payé mais pas trop le choix dans cette région. Je conseille de payer sur internet avant de vous rendre sur place car aucun signal téléphonique/pas internet. Terrain vaste et calme. La balade à proximité est sympa.
