what a great little find. Only £20 for a peaceful night. limited hook up and no facilities, but a great beach. cafe and toilets nearby. Fresh water on site. Run by a very friendy gentleman who will take your money and let you get on with it.

A fuir !

Price is already 25£/30£ with EHU. View is indeed great, but it is true that other motorhomes are very close to each other. Public toilets next to the beach are to far for small kids but ok for adults.

This is a 5 star location even with the lack of facilities. However we were here in May which must now be considered high season on the NC500. As a result the owner plays a daily game of Tetris to squeeze additional vans in the prime location nearest the beach. The over crowding of this area results in a less special non relaxed experience. Sorry Kenny but it’s the truth.

An amazing location and to be brutally honest, has better views than the (shut) camping site to the north. you enter via a gate (which was shut when we arrived) and set up. There's levelling ramps by the building .. but not necessary on the hard standing we used, and 'leccy if needed. The owner swings by for cash at dusk. amazing views, a short walk to toilets and a relaxing venue. a.m.a.zing.

£20 a bit steep but a good spot, nice view, water available and clean toilets across the beach. No 4G on Vodafone/Lebara.

  • 5/5

Great spot great comms with land owner. Water to top up and electric if you want it for £25 if no EHU £20. Right on the beach. Probably one of the best park ups we have had.

  • 2/5

Nice view, but £20 is very expensive as it’s nothing more than a parking spot without any facilities. There are 3-4 spots. The village is not really a village just a bunch of houses with a big camping site in the middle, we did not like it and left early morning.

    Great value stopover

  • 5/5

Well done Kenny you deserve all the praise you get. Why can’t other property owners with an area think like this. Provide a simple service, make some passive income, and reap the rewards. Other folks on the NC500 and Isle of Skye should stop whinging and take a leaf out of this man’s book . I raise a glass to you Kenny.

really lovely spot, right next to the beach, cash only but their is a little shop down the road that will give you cash back if you need it. food is lovely their. we had a lovely stay.

  • 5/5

Absolutely fantastic place to stop. Stunning views, right next to beach. Fresh drinking water, pet friendly, and toilets 10 mins walk across the beach. Extremely helpful owner would highly recommend. Excellent value for money.

  • 5/5

Amazing view and closer to the beach. There is drinkable water. For the toilets you can use the ones from the beach. (5minute walk). There was only one more campervan and the place we had was levelled. The owner comes by to collect the money (cash) at some point. Not much facilities but 5 stars for the view.

Hatten leider nicht so eine schöne Lage, aber für eine Nacht ist es o.k. 20 Pfund zu teuer für nichts.

  • 3/5

Good spot for beach. 20£ for the night and 5£ for EHU. Toilets are a walk, carpark toilets, clean enough. Booked via contact number, easy to find.

  • 5/5

Basic plot with EHU and water. Very handy place, direct access to beach and split rock - greatly reccommended!

  • 4/5

Stayed November. Watched the sun set and has a spectacular view. £5 extra for electric hook up if needed. Fresh water. Public toilets a few minutes away via the beach.

  • 4/5

Perfect little spot right on the beach. No facilities but public toilets just a few mins away (not the best but ok if desperate) Very windy when we went but still a lovely dog walk with an amazing sunset

  • 3/5

Leider ein Schild dran dass der Platz bis Ende September geschlossen ist.

  • 5/5

Lovely little stop along the NC500. Owner was lovely. £15 for non electric spot for the night with water. Electric available for £20. Pitches are level. No toilets. Right on the beach with lovely views.

  • 5/5

Stunning view. Dolphins come in the evening and early morning. Water and electricity available.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Awesome site, great view and direct access to the breathtaking beach. Definitely recommended.

  • 5/5

Superb spot, so much better than the local campsite for half the cost. We arrived early and stopped for 2 days as it was that good and had the spot right over looking the beach. Fresh water and hook up on site, toilets close by with a short walk across the beach and Flossies shop has a good range of basic foods and drink and some hot food.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 19-June, kenny is a very nice helpful guy, fresh water and 4 electric hook ups right at the beach entrance. Plenty of space also for non electric, highly recommended and I’m defiantly staying there again thanks for being accommodating on peak season last min for me.

  • 4/5

Parked here as the Clachtoll campsite was full. Nice flat parking and a hose to refill water. (3 electrical hook ups if required) But note - no other services are available. The public toilets are a good walk across the beach. But at least they are open 24 hours unlike some.

  • 5/5

Ganz toller Platz direkt am Meer. Plätze etwas uneben, keine Duschen, keine Toiletten. EHU vorhanden. Kenny ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Kleines Lädchen in der Nähe. Komme gerne und sicher wieder!

  • 5/5

Great place to camp up £15 for the night. Fresh water available & some EH. The guy was lovely & helpful. Checked we were ok & lives nearby. Right next to the beach as well

  • 5/5

Superb site! Forget Achmelvich, feels grim and unwelcoming (and no dogs allowed!) Come here instead, or the site next-door if you need facilities. Kenny a lovely friendly guy, spots you parking up and comes for the money, very helpful too. Whole place has a really nice vibe, all happy campers! Sites like this are what having a Mo-Ho should be all about.

  • 5/5

Amazing spot. Couldn’t be any closer to the white sands of the beach. £15 for night and £5 for EHU. There is water also but no toilets or waste disposal. There are some public toilets at the other side of the beach (5 minute walk). No phone signal at all for us. Spot for 3 campers over looking beach but space for more without a view. If you are self sufficient definitely worth visiting.

  • 5/5

pitches on the beach edge. Kenny was great and straight down to us , said £15.00 for moho pitch on the gate but it's £20.00 with ehu. right on the beach ⛱️, fantastic views. no loos but water available. no disposal facilities. limited pitches. would return. need to be self sufficient.

  • 5/5

fabulous little spot, Kenny very friendly

  • 5/5

Kenny the local crofter was ace! we rocked up on the off chance and were shocked at the views and location. honestly could not believe our luck! slept in the van right next to the beach. place was spotless. No amenities but if u have a off grid camper like us it's perfect. well worth a visit in the winter!

  • 5/5

This is a brilliant initiative. Kenny is the farmer who owns this little croft and he rents out space between the road and the sea. I stayed two nights and he reserved a beach-side pitch for me because I’d been on the top pitch the first night — I didn’t even have to ask! There are public loos and showers/services at the campsite next door. The £15 you spend here goes directly to local people :)

  • 4/5

£15 for the night, right nxt to a lush little beach, fresh water & bins, def worth it & Kenny is a lovely fella who owns it. fits about 4 Van's right in front of beach & about 8-10 in front of house as you go down a little steep hill to get to it.
