Mon objectif est de proposer un parking sûr et calme. Ce n'est ni un endroit attrayant ni au bord d'une rivière, mais c'est un endroit calme et sécurisé.
Il est proche du parc et de la rivière. Un parc à 500 mètres propose également une course le samedi matin. Le centre-ville est à cinq minutes à pied. Il est situé en face de la gare, avec des trains directs pour Londres et Bath. Il y a un centre historique local à proximité et un Sainsbury's local avec café et boulangerie (il y a aussi une excellente boulangerie locale et un café indépendant au coin de la rue). Il est conseillé de réserver à l'avance. Ouvert généralement de 8h à 18h du lundi au vendredi, samedi et dimanche sur rendez-vous. Il est très pratique de réserver à l'avance (si vous avez l'application payante, vous trouverez les détails ici).

My aim is to offer safe secure quiet parking , it’s not sexy or by a river but it is quiet and secure.
It is close to the park and river. There is also a park run on Saturday morning in the park (500 metres away ) town centre is a five min walk. It’s opposite the railway station with direct trains to London and Bath , there’s a nearby local history centre and local sainsburys which has coffee and bakery ( there’s also a great local bakers and a super independent coffee shop( Coffee on the corner ) it’s great if you can book ahead. Normally open 8-6 M-F , Sat and Sun by arrangement it’s really helpful if you can book ahead ( if you have the paid app the details are there )

Es liegt gegenüber dem Bahnhof mit direkten Zügen nach London und Bath, es gibt ein nahegelegenes lokales Geschichtszentrum und einen örtlichen Sainsbury's mit Kaffee und Bäckerei (es gibt auch eine tolle Bäckerei und ein super unabhängiges Café („Coffee on the Corner“). Thank you Neil this is Perfect for a secure overnight stop over just a short walk to restaurants and bars, Sainsbury’s local nearby. You park behind solid steel gates it felt safe to leave the vehicle and walk into town. Pay by PayPal. Will use again.
arrived today looked like a giant outdoor workshop main gate closed and no were to park no signs.
An excellent location for visiting the town especially as there are few, if any other options for a motorhome. Neil is very accommodating and will go out of his way to help. It is advisable to phone first so that if any preparations are needed, he can sort it before you arrive. Highly recommended and will return in future.
Great secure park up right in the middle of town. No facilities so being self contained is key. Host was super friendly and helpful. Will use again.
Perfect for what I needed! Safe location with barrier locked at night, super convenient for the train station for visiting Bath. It is not pretty, but if you need a park up in the center of town it is excellent. Organizing with Neil was easy, he always responded to messages quickly. Both Neil and Aaron were super helpful and could not be nicer. Highly recommended.
A great location for a stopover. A few minutes walk into the town centre. There are no facilities, however it is quiet and secure. So if you haven't got a toilet you're a bit stuck. Stayed for one night and would definitely use again. It's not pretty, but it fits a purpose, and for a fiver you can't go wrong. Neil was great and very accommodating.
Great place to stay and I could chat all day with Neil, wonderful guy! Yes you are parked in between lots of vans, cars etc, but for proximity to town and the train station, this location cannot be matched! We will be returning!!
Perfect for exploring Chippenham, or catching train. Make sure you phone ahead. Neil is super nice. Highly recommended

Great safe and secure place to stop. Easy walk to town and the lovely Monkton Park. Neil is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Will be coming back!

Great little stop off. Near town and the station if you want to get a train to Bath or Bristol. Neil was responsive, helpful and very accommodating, would definitely use again.

This is a great spot to stay. Neil is quick to respond if you arrive after hours. He will give you the code to get in the gates. While yes, it's a vehicle yard beside the college it's secure. If you prefer security over scenery, this is definently the place to stay. It's cheap to park and everything you need is close by! Pubs, shops, grocery, train station, and public transit. I would come back!
è un cimitero di veicoli abbandonati! ti fanno posteggiare tra i rottami. Assolutamente non è una zona adatta a parcheggiare. Sono scioccata che qualcuno lo abbia proposto, mi chiedo se veramente qualcuno posteggia in questo posto serenamente. Assolutamente da togliere !!
Do not be put off by 1st impressions because this is a good place to park if you want somewhere quiet and very safe near to the town centre, station and leisure centre. It is locked 6pm-6am but we were given a code for the gate by Neil who was there to meet us. Cost £5 overnight.
Turned up today and yes it does look like a scrapyard and yes it did put us off. Was able to park on the road for 2 hours. A better option for us would have been the A420. As you head out North West, Marshfield Road has a long stretch of unrestricted parking on its north side, within a reasonable walk into the town.
Neil is a legend and a gent, boys are fab! Highly recommend- it is literally a carpark that is also a scrapyard with lots of scrap cars don’t let this put you off. I had a skate competition in the leisure centre and was 1 min walk, beautiful play areas and walk into the lovely town - £4 a night bargain - I would use again
A great location for visiting Chippenham or jumping on a train to Bath... What a friendly welcome from Neil and his boys. We emailed ahead to book for 2 nights, a Fri and Sat. Very secure site where we felt very safe. As others have said, you are given the code to unlock the gate for departure on a weekend.
Not glamorous, but very cheap for an overnight stay. On site chaps were friendly and helpful.
Great second visit to this site. The staff are very helpful and will get you parked. The site is staffed normally between 0800 - 1800. The main gate it locked at night, but you are given a code to open it. The location is in easy walk to the town and the train station and bus stops are a short walk.
Absolutely brilliant people .call ahead and they’ll fit you in . Close to town centre , gates a locked at night , it’s not sexy but secure and quiet
we turned up at 8pm and was closed and in darkness. we waited for about 15 minutes and no-one came. maybe you have to ring ahead first. easy access for any size and is convenient for the train station and town shops and bars.
Yes, the site looks a little commercial, but on arrival the two lads couldn't have been more helpful in making space for us. Neil called around later to make sure we were all happy & suggested if people call ahead he can have a space ready. A bit of noise & the odd train till around 11.00 but then surprisingly had a very quiet night. Felt quite secure.
As described by the other comment. The owner and staff were very helpful. The site does have several van projects on the site but don't be put off. The site is secured at night and you are given the code for entry and exit. Also, the site has no height barriers and is an 5-minute walk from the centre of town.
Don’t be put off by 1st impressions, lots of vehicles in various conditions, seemingly randomly parked. But the owner couldn’t have been more accommodating. We arrived unannounced, in 2 MH’s & they played a game of Tetris with the vehicles already there to fit us in. No services, but wasn’t an issue. Gates locked at night. Close to the Train & a road, quiet at night. Would use again. Cost £5 p/n.
