Daytime National Trust carpark, free for NT members right by the dunes and vast sandy beach. Plenty of spaces. There is a height restriction barier but we came here twice and it was open - on weekend when we came there was a Coffee and Crépes Van, picnic bences, portable-festival-style toilets. Nice place to spend the day.

You're not supposed to park overnight. lovely spot and gorgeous beach.
Arrived at car park thought it was free till I seen pay machine , £7.50 with the option to pay by phone but couldn’t as had no signal on Vodafone network. Still too expensive for walk on the beach.
Massive car park. £7.50 for the whole day and says no overnight parking but I spoke to a local there and he said the barriers are never put down. Probably would have been ok to stay but I went on a hot day and it was heaving so moved on to somewhere quieter near the canal (which was perfect) after watching the sunset at the beach.
Staff onsite until late moving people on.

Nice place. Sign says gates locked at 15.00 but they are not as I've left many times after that time. The NT website says its free to park after 15.00. No facilities.
Couldn’t get in, 2.3m height restriction also said gates looked at 3pm

Good spot, arrived and went for a walk down on the beach. Few other vans exc here tonight

12/09/18 update: a 'no overnight parking' sign has been put up at the entrance. we ended up staying the night at a caravan park just across the road.
Parc repris par le National Trust. Pancarte à l'entrée avec tarifs. Payant la journée pour les non-adhérents. Nombreuses plages de stationnement. Beaucoup de promeneurs.
Parc repris par le National Trust et gratuit pour l'hiver à venir. Je ne sais pas s'il le restera. Superbe coin mais beaucoup de va-et-vient, c'est un parking prisé !
Très calme. Je recommande. Beaucoup de promenades à faire.
