First Camp Ekudden – Mariestad is a scenic campsite by Lake Vänern, surrounded by oak groves, pine forests, and shore meadows teeming with wildlife. The campsite offers spacious pitches for motorhomes and caravans, with four modern service buildings featuring toilets, showers, baby changing facilities, and even a dog shower. A short walk through the nature reserve takes you to Mariestad’s inner harbor, where you’ll find charming restaurants, shops, and boat trips on Lake Vänern.

A peaceful campsite surrounded by nature, with spacious pitches and Dutch owners! The campsite is located directly on the crystal-clear Lake Vättern, with a beautiful, wide sandy beach: ideal for swimming and relaxing. There are several pitches with stunning lake views (320 m²), suitable for caravans, campervans, and tents. There are also separate paved campervan pitches (320 m²), pitches further from the lake (300 m²), and tent pitches (170 m²). The campsite has two restrooms and kitchens that are cleaned several times a day. During peak season, the reception is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Arriving later? Book online now, and we'll leave an information envelope at the reception door). There's also a small shop with basic necessities, ice cream, and fresh bread rolls in the morning. MOVÄNTA CAMPING. A wonderful place to unwind, enjoy the lake, and experience the Swedish summer in northern Småland. The direct location on the lake invites young and old to swim. Those who want to go fishing can rent canoes and boats, and barbecue areas invite you to enjoy a meal under the stars. In addition to 78 pitches, all of which have electrical hookups upon request, we also offer various cabins that can be rented year-round. Our simple and clean restroom facilities can be found in two locations on the site. Outside of the peak season (June-August), it is quieter here. The MOVÄNTA SERVERING restaurant is open during the summer months from mid-May to mid-August and offers delicious regional and international dishes. Our camping family speaks Swedish, English, German, and Dutch. Dogs are welcome and are welcome to explore our dog-friendly beach. We are picturesquely located near the renowned Klinten Nature Reserve, home to the famous Skurugata and Skuruhatt mountains. Eksjö, one of Sweden's most beautiful forest areas, is just as worth a visit as Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's birthplace. Welcome!

Small campsite on the beautiful Lake Bolmen. Not a glamping site, but it has everything you need. Possibilities to rent motor boats, canoes or kayaks to explore the lake. Also great starting point for hikes and bike rides. Basic but clean restroom facilities.
