Turned up this morning to see if there was any activity. Hubby asked Butty Man what time stuff was happening. He said 16:30. We went off to do the museum & come back later. Headed back at 14:30 just in time to hear the first Eurofighter take off & the car park was now rammed. We still managed to squeeze in but if you come, find out your own flight info, don’t listen to Butty Man.

Newly erected sign saying (No overnight camping) although vans are still staying here. It’s a Police initiated sign, so don’t know what the level of enforcement will be.

Found this carpark to be quite exposed to the wind. It had recently been resurfaced and has bins. Nearby village has everything you might need with two small supermarkets and various eatery. Great for watching the planes too many friendly people

Great place to watch The Typhoon Fighter Planes. Big car park. No facilities just bins.

I was here 20/6/24. great stop over, while here I witnessed dumping of grey waste on the car park, also people wandering up into the bushes for toileting. I'm afraid if this continues, the hght barrier will be back. please, if you are thinking of going, don't do this and spoil it for others.

Dogdyke Rd, Coningsby, Lincoln LN4 4TE Sat nav didn't quite get me there... Carry on about 1 mile further. Stayed here last year, has now been resurfaced. Bins are overflowing this evening. 2 other campers and a couple of cars atm. There is no height barrier. We'll worth the stay. *UPDATE* bins emptied Friday morning. Burger van here too. Very quiet overnight. Slept soundly.

Outstanding. Huge parking area, fresh tarmac, bins, flat, quiet, safe, excellent Vodafone and EE signal. 4 other vans for the 2 nights I stayed. Locals very friendly - most people who visit are there for the planes. You are close to a major airbase so you feel very safe. One of the best spots I have parked up in a long time.

Stayed on 21/04/24 just me & one plane spotter parked up ( not togther ) . Some initial noise late evening from a parked car running it’s engine for an hour with burbling exhaust but a really quiet night . Walked the dog along the river behind . The burger van arrived 8 am ish and the car park filled with plane spotters . The planes are thrilling to watch I must say .

What a great place for a stop over. We arrived around 2/3pm and did we arrive in time. RAF just opposite and what we had was a fab view of the planes taking off and landing. If you walk over the road you can see the pilots in the euro fighters. Don’t forget to wave as they travel past. No amenities but there are bins. 5 mins from co-op.

parking plat et gratuit , plutot calme, avec beaucoup de place et à proximité du Musée dont le parking privé est fermé la nuit.

Stayed here for the night before heading into Skegness the following day. There were already campers here when we arrived but plenty of space for everyone. Bins on site to dispose of rubbish. Nice and quiet all night with the odd car passing early morning.

Nice little spot for a stopover. we stayed on a Saturday night and there was only one other van parked up. very quiet, lots of bins but no facilities.

  • 5/5

Spent the night few days ago, few other campers, car park very busy lunch time, quiet overnight.

  • 5/5

Fantastic, level car park. Not good if you don't like planes but absolutely amazing if you do, we saw a helicopter, passenger plane and fast jets. Ice Cream van came in the evening and a burger van in the daytime. It is next to a road but we weren't disturbed by the noise. No facilities but plenty of bins.

Largish car park on rough ground, but fairly flat. A few photographers arrived in morning to watch the planes. Rubbish bins available. Spent quiet night and slept well.
