There were three of us all with Motorhome’s (all under 6m). The nice chap in the booth was very accommodating and charged us the same hourly rate as a car - £2.50. All the spaces are small but he was happy for us to hang over into another space. Great location for the beach and very close town. Spot on!
Can’t fault the location. Decent flat surface and right in the centre of town. Marked down on the price though. The owners seem to have got a bit greedy in 2026, and it is now £35 to park overnight IF you are sleeping in your vehicle. If you’re not it’s only £15. Save your money and use street parking. It’s all free after 6pm.
Yes they allow overnight but the parking spaces are small so any thing bigger than a car size will be tight...

I have a 7m van, the attendant just waived me away. Only good for smaller campervans.
Great car park whether staying overnight in your van or not. Flat and right on the beach. Outdoor showers and toilets a stone’s throw away. £15 for 24 hours if NOT staying in your van, £30 if you are, which is pricey for a car park but the location is spot on. I’m not sure how they know whether you sleep in your van or not but I paid £15 and didn’t. Very helpful parking attendant on duty.
Excellent service from the attendant who showed us the corner bay, which he uses for 24-hour motorhome parking. It did cost £20 but we didn't mind paying this for being in the centre of Sidmouth and overlooking the sea!
Great service from the attendant. £20 overnight. Might need to use two bays but we are in corner bay with enough room for 6 metre motorhome.
Stayed here last night. Cost has gone to £30 overnight but couldn’t find anywhere else in Sidmouth for our larger motorhome (7m). We were lucky as by the time we arrived at about 5pm the car park was quite so we were able to take two spaces. Not sure in the height of the summer they would let you park. Very quiet and right opposite the beach.
