Cozy campsite located right by the Dammån River, suitable for tents, campers and caravans. There are also cottages available. The area, with wild rivers, forests and mountains, offers diverse options for hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, fishing and wildlife tours. It is well suited for nature and fishing enthusiasts. The camp has a private fishing pond available for children. There is a laundry room, a small kitchen and barbecue areas set up by the river. The restaurant, which is also very popular among locals, serves good quality food and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (mid-summer to end of August)

Ammeråns Fiskecamp – Winter by the Ammerån Quiet. Spacious. Real. Ammeråns Fiskecamp is also open in winter. When nature slows down, the river changes its character and the days become clear and silent, a very special season begins here. During winter we use only part of our campsite – not because of limitations, but by choice. As we are working alongside running the camp and are not always on site, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance, preferably via WhatsApp. This helps ensure a relaxed and uncomplicated arrival. ? Arrival & staying Our winter pitches are suitable for both small and large vehicles. The campsite is well accessible in winter, and the access roads are regularly cleared. ? Warmth & energy In winter, electricity is charged according to consumption (3 SEK per kWh). It is intended for normal electrical use – heating is mainly done with gas, as is common when winter camping. We do not sell gas on site, but we are happy to help organise gas if needed. ? Warm and comfortable indoors For our winter guests there is a large, comfortable bathroom available. You will also find a heated common room with a kitchen, where you can wash dishes, collect water or simply warm up for a while. All of this is included in the price. ❄️ Water & disposal Toilet waste disposal is available all year round. In winter, fresh water and grey water are handled using watering cans or containers, which we gladly provide. As the river and the slipway freeze in winter, boat use is not possible during this season. ? Outdoor time & relaxation Our BBQ huts are open in winter and invite you to enjoy long evenings by the fire. And then there is one of our favourite features: the wood-fired sauna – no booking, no extra charge, simply included. Light the fire, add some wood and warm up – just the way it should be. ? Winter fishing Depending on weather and ice conditions, shore fishing or ice fishing is possible. We are always happy to share our local knowledge and current conditions. Winter at the Ammerån is not about luxury. It is about quiet moments, nature and simplicity – for those who truly appreciate them. We speak German, Swedish and English.
