Great location for getting into Edinburgh city centre with regular buses that run into the night. Lots of road noise, but good for proximity to city. Bins available but no toilets (although looked like there were some in the bus station but this wasn’t open when we visited on NYE). Height barriers were pushed aside so no problems accessing

Plenty of space, the height barrier is pushed aside. Obviously, with a car park next to a major road, there is traffic noise. Still a good night's sleep. Buses ran regularly through the day and evening
J’y suis passée hier et les barrières de hauteur étaient ouvertes et plusieurs vans y étaient stationnés. J’ai par contre préféré le parking de Curiehill, car le train est plus rapide que le bus qui peut être pris à Hermiston, et la route adjacente au parking m’avait l’air plus bruyante.
This was a great find as we had driven down from the Orkney Islands and needed somewhere outside of the ULEZ zone. As others mentioned it has the constant noise of traffic into the city. But with earplugs we both slept well. Car park felt safe and was easy access into Edinburgh with the added bonus that we could stay up to 3 nights for free. Toilets locked since Covid( advise a shewee)
Uniquement pour une nuit… route beaucoup trop bruyante ! J’ai du dormir avec des boules quies. Barrière de 1m90 cassée, personnes restant tard le soir sur le parking pour faire des drifts et fumer du canabis ! Seul point positif c’est gratuit, conseil : ne pas venir si vous avez des enfants

Perfecto aparcamiento lanzadera para ir a Edimburgo (línea 35 de bus, £2,20). Se puede pernoctar hasta tres noches. Sin servicios.
Safe place to stop with easy access by bus into Edinburgh. Bright lighting with no real dark spots so window covers would be a plus. Had a few 'boy racers' on the nights I was there but they moved on by 10pm and the rest of the night was quiet.
Parfait pour stationner gratuitement jusqu'à 3 nuits si vous êtes sur Édimbourg. Il n'y a pas de restriction de hauteur sur tout le parking, la barrière est ouverte ! Il y a plusieurs connexions avec des bus de jour et de nuit avec le centre ville.
good nights sleep, not too much noise at night, well lit. handy stop over for a bus ride into Edinburgh. height barrier currently open so happy days .
Auch mit unserem Camper (2,75m) konnten wir auf dem Parkplatz über Nacht stehen. Man erreicht von dort aus mit dem Bus die Stadt (ca. 30 Min.). Sehr empfehlenswert!
Hoogte beperking (1.90m) is momenteel buiten werking, lekker gestaan met mijn 2.56m hoge camper ;-) Prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Edinburgh met de bus. Wij namen lijn 35.
Had a good night, practical to visit Edinburgh by bus. No toilets when we were there last year.
Good wee stopover for the night. Wasn’t too noisy, just some road noise but expected at a park and ride. Height barriers are open, the exit barrier looks damaged so won’t be closed in a hurry. Perfect stop for Oriam parkrun which is just around the corner
parking possible la nuit avec pas mal de passage à toute heure, mais il suffit pour être proche dedimbourg ou de l'aéroport. proche d'une université avec un bar étudiant sympa et pas cher
Grand parking gratuit, de plus pour un billet à la journée de 4,50 £, on peut visiter tout Edingbourg en bus, il y a des bus régulièrement. Prévoir l'appoint si paiement en espèces, il ne rendent pas la monnaie. On peut rester la nuit, rien ne l'interdit. Par contre, attention, le lien mène sur le parking pour les véhicules électriques à gauche, celui pour les autres véhicules est à droite.
