Stayed last night in the paddock it was pie and a pint night in the pub. Pie and beer were brilliant. We had Lamb an Mint pie and chips absolutely brilliant. Stay over was really quiet. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend for food drink and stay. Thank you

we couldn't stay on the little campsite because of a private festivity. but we were able to just stay overnight in the parking lot. Very friendly, good food. nice walk around the village and canal.

Stayed for one night, was too shattered for a meal but had a couple of drinks instead. Parked at bottom of car park, perfect night sleep, very friendly pub and lovely canal walk in the morning would definitely stay again.

Lovely warm welcome and great overnight stop. Visited on a Friday evening which is pizza night. Food excellent and lovely pub. Great outside and inside space including board games, pool table, play area and lovely walks up the canal. Couldn't ask for more. Do support the owners and buy a meal though.

Lovely setting with nice walks along the canal. Stayed one night. Didn’t eat in the pub (although food looked good), just bought a few beers and enjoyed the open fire. Although it was muddy, we found a dry level spot in the paddock which was lovely. The paddock is very uneven so it might have been a bit tricky had we not been the only van there. We could have stayed in the car park had we wished.

Enjoyable stay, friendly staff in busy pub. Food and beer was really nice. Paddock round the back was a bit muddy so parked at end of carpark - no worries. I had a LWB Transit - anything much longer would be a bit tight on the carpark.

Small grass paddock at the far end of the pub car park fenced off and backing on to the canal. Friendly village pub with great home cooked food and nice range of real ale and craft beers. Quiet night. Would recommend this place :)
