Thanks to Derry for this facility. Only £4.50 in coins for more than 8 hrs.Someone does come round to check. If coming from Belfast on the A2 then as you approach the Craigavon Bridge keep to the right and take the underpass onto the lower level of the bridge. Easy then to turn into Foyle rd. Taking the top level means a sharp narrow turn down to parking.
Went to empty black waste. Cafe did not have a key!! Learning Centre did, but £10 to use. Very expensive, did not use.
Stayed 7/9/25. Quiet with no disturbance and nice views of the river . Easy walk to the centre , the Walls etc. . V cheap £4:50. Unfortunately someone had taken the key so couldn’t access the waste but there was fresh water
Great central location to visit Derry. We parked up and had a good night at The Blackbird with live music for the first couple of hours. We slept well with no disturbances and all for £4.50 overnight. There is a motorhome service kiosk with keys available from the cafe on the car park, but we didn't use it.
Used service point only, didn't park. Key in the coffee shop, not Mondays as it's closed. The coffee shop is located next to the Learning Centre. The Learning Centre also has a key, (where I obtained it from, closes at 5pm) it's entry point is the opposite side to the coffee shop, it's where Taxi rank used to be. (taxi rank closed 5 years ago) Yes pricey but we had no other option.
Great place for a one night stop-over. We paid via Ring-Go app - arrived during the afternoon - payment stops 18.30 - pay again in the morning from 08.30. Total payment 14.00 Friday to 11.30 Saturday - about £6. There's a locked unit for toilet waste - get the key from the cafe during open hours. 15 mins walk to city. Good river view. Tight parking when car park is busy. Quiet overnight.
10 pond om zwart water te mogen lossen. Sleutel moet je ophalen in het cafe. Deksel aan de achterkant omhoog is gratis. Grijs water lossen is gratis. Water pakken ook (met emmers)
Wir haben heute dort kostenfrei Entsorgt. Dieser Platz wird gerne mit dem Parkplatz daneben vermischt! Dort haben wir ebenfalls übernachtet und gesondert bewertet. Der Entsorgungspunkt war heute aufgeschlossen und in einem guten, sauberen Zustand. Für. uns war eine Bezahlungspflicht nicht erkennbar. Danke für die Einrichtung!
Excellent and very clean toilet dump facility, also fresh water at the back. The flush button for toilet waste is on the far side of the cistern otherwise you might think the too-short hose is for flushing. Both the coffee shop and taxi office were closed Monday morning but the facility was open. Thanks to Derry Council for making these facilities available. No drive-over grey waste disposal.
Genial parada. Hi ha una estació per buidar aigües grises o negres i reomplir aigua neta, tot gratuït demanant la clau que tenen a la cafeteria de la cantonada. Passar la nit o mes de 8h nomes son 5£, bon preu tot plegat. A canvi deixem propines i esmorzarem i berenarem a la cafeteria. Molt amables, zona tranquila a la nit. 200% recomanable. Gràcies!
Fantastic Large flat parking space with beautiful views over the river , lovely cafe popular with locals with great sandwiches & traybakes, if asking the cafe for change to use the site amenities , please buy a coffee or small cake & get change this way , it’s polite ! Small charge to pay to park £4.50 overnight absolute bargain, friendly locals

Toller, ruhiger Platz zum Übernachten. Nur wenige Minuten ins Zentrum. Man zahlt nur zw. 8:30 und 18:30, ganz einfach mit der RingGo-App.
Der Platz ist schön angelegt, man hat eine schöne Sicht auf den Fluss, es ist nah ins Zentrum. Wir konnten die Entleerung nicht nutzen. Zudem sind wir gegen Mitternacht gefahren, weil wir mit dem Dröhnen des Stromgenerators der dauerhaft lebenden hier nicht zurecht kamen. Zudem waren die Personen sehr streit- und Autofahrfreudig. Für uns zu anstrengend.

Accès a l'eau douce sans problème accessible et gratuit faut utiliser un arrosoirs ou sceau. Zone de vidange accessible en cherchant la clé au café voisin.
De plaats was erg fijn. In de parkeerautomaat kun je buiten Ierse ponden ook betalen met euromunten. Het taxi bedrijf is er niet meer. Wij hebben de stad bezocht.
I'm here now and overnight parking is allowed. It's a great site....only negative is some inconsiderate campervan has a generator which is so noisy.......Its going in the Foyle very soon.
Parking avec services, eau potable, pour vider les eaux usées et wc. Le café, où il faut payé et obtenir la clé d'accès pour vider les wc, est fermé le lundi. Dans le site, il est noté que si c'est fermé il faut aller payer au guichet de Derry Taxi. Ca à changer. Aller à la réception de l'institution pour personnes handicapées située juste à côté du café. Clé introuvable quand nous y étions.
Excellent overnight stop. Arrived around midday left 10.30am the next day, cost about £5. Service point available if you get the key, but didn't use it. City centre is very nearby walking. Pitches are by river with nice walks. Quiet at night. Cafe at end of parking area.
Muy práctico para visitar el centro. Tranquilo por la noche. Muy sencillo de pagar con la app. Los supuestos servicios de llenado cerrados, no obstante por 10GPB no creo que nadie los use. Pude usar el vaciado de grises
Muy buen lugar!!! Espacioso, con buenas vistas, barato (se paga modo parquímetro o bien con una app) y con una caseta de AC para vaciar aguas negras y llenar agua. Las aguas grises puedes vaciarlas también ya que hay alcantarilla. Domingos gratis!!! Estuvimls dos noches.
stayed for one night, didn't use the facilities so only paid for parking from 5.30 till 6.30 then 8.30 till 9.30 when I left. cost me about £3 it was okay at night, a few people walking up the canal but it was a Friday evening. I normally like my pop top up but as a solo woman traveller I kept it down as it made me feel less inconspicuous
Functional car park well located in Derry a short walk to the centre. Paid a few pounds parking via Ringo app. Water free but did not have screw connection. Did not try other services. Several other motorhomes also staying
Stayed two nights. Arrived 4.30 pm on Friday leaving at 10.30 am Monday with a cost of £3.50 .Next to river with lovely walk or cycle off road. Very close to Town centre of Londonderry
Good level car park next to the river, very close to the city centre to walk in. There is a service point but we didn’t use it. We parked here for a few hours with a plan to stay the night but after a walk around the city centre we decided to move on elsewhere. There was a couple of other campers who were staying over.
Great spot for visiting Derry. Not too busy, even when the Froyle Maritime Festival was on. No car parking charges on a Sunday. Most spots had enough overhang for motorhomes. Nice café in the corner. Didn’t’ use the services.
Brilliant spot, especially for dog-owners. Parkland next to the car-park. We have just spent 2 nights here. Lots of people around, taking exercise, walking dogs etc. Felt safe. Quiet at night too. If you are walking into the city-centre, don’t be frightened to walk up Abercorn Road, if you fancy a change.
Good place for the centre of Londonderry, as long as you don't need to pay £10 for black water disposal. tap behind the facility is fine for filling small bottles (no tap thread).
Hemos pasado la noche con otros tres vehículos. Es una zona muy buena para visitar la ciudad y dormir pero es muy ruidoso y se debe tener cuidado donde se coloca ya que para vehículos grandes el espacio es reducido. Para usar los servicios de llenado de aguas limpias y wc hay que pedir la llave en la recepción y pagar 10£. Sale muy poca cantidad, tened paciencia. Fuera detrás hay un grifo.
Spent a quiet night with lots of other camping cars. Didn't use infrastructure. Choose space carefully with longer vehicle as it might be difficult to get out when parking fills up in the morning.
En fait nous sommes sur le parking de l’autre côté du pont. Le parcmètre accepte les livres et les euros. Très bien placé pour la cathédrale et les remparts !
we used this mostly ok. but you will need to bring a hose connector as its not a threaded tap. the water feed can be accessed without paying the aire fee as its outside. recommend to go at a quite time or you may struggle to get your van parked over the grey waste grille.
Die Service-Station scheint geschlossen zu sein, die Hinweistafel existiert nicht mehr. Es stehe hier Parkautomaten, die nur mit Münzen funktionieren. Man kann aber auch per APP bezahlen, die Einrichtung geht in ein paar Minuten und man kann mit Kreditkarte oder Google Pay bezahlen. Der Platz ist sehr voll, gerde habe ich einen Camper wieder wegfahren sehen, weil kein Platz mehr war.
Nice place to stay (on the river). Pretty calm. A special hose connection or a lot of tape is required to fill up the water. We drained gray water at the shaft in front of the toilet disposal. ??? Good place to visit Derry. Saturday evening to Monday morning no parking fee. Service fee 10 euros during business hours and on Saturdays and Sundays in the coffee shop next door.
Ottima posizione.. possibilità di scarico nere e grigie, con il secchio, e carico acqua. bisogna chiedere la chiave al bar.

stayed here last night with 5 other vans. free parking at weekends. key for services kept at cafe. very quiet and peaceful, yet a short walk to city centre. no hesitation coming back
You can easily use the drain for grey water disposal and the tap for fresh water if you BYO hose, but don’t bother calling the Derry taxi company- they “have no idea what you’re talking about” regarding the key to disposing the black water!

Tuvimos suerte y estaba abierto, entonces cómo no teníamos una manguera que llegara hasta nuestra autocaravana sólo pudimos vaciar las aguas negras. Entonces no pagamos nada.

We decided to stay overnight at this parking. Even if officially not allowed, it wasn’t a problem according to the info desk at the tourist information centre.
