Good if you really need somewhere, no signs to stop you sleeping over. I would go further up the lane, though, to the next little carpark if it's empty as it's flat. This stop isn't flat, unfortunately.

60605711/01/2025Very quiet, beautiful views - we are lucky and found a flat bit next to the carpark - bit bumpy getting in tho! We also climbed the peaked which was amazing - highly recommended - just us here for the night

Great spot. few people around. left early so may have got busier later with people starting the hike. Great spot for a quiet night. me and one other van.

wildcamper2460116/08/2024Easy place to stay for the night, it’s the car park for Ben y Vrackie so a few cars around but they left in the evening. Stilts needed as all a bit sloped. Rubbish bin in the car park but no facilities. Very quiet, right next to a stream. Space for 7-8 campers, lovely views.

We had a talk with the really polite visitor rangers. Unfortunately it is no longer allowed to stay overnight due to bad behaviour of some campers. Please respect that.
jambo55511/04/2024Perfect for any vehicle we took our 7m overcab. We stayed in the second car park at the start of the hike. Lovely views quiet all night and hikers didn’t start arriving till 9ish highly recommend

parking en effet en pente mais au calme et pas loin du village de moulin et pitlochry avec des petits bars et restaurants. par contre le parking mentionné 100m plus haut est le début d'une balade et mentionne clairement no overnight parking.

Fantastisch uitzicht maar voor ons niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Je staat echt scheef en wij kregen de camper niet recht. Resultaat, een slechte nachtrust. Ons advies is 100 meter verder omhoog te rijden. Op de tweede parkeerplaats sta je rechter.

We stayed in the smaller car park which is further along the track past the main car park. Really quiet and secluded, surrounded by trees and the stream. Surface is flat, enough space for 6 campers comfortably, maybe more. Seemed much nicer than the bigger, more exposed car park. We were the only ones there.

Für eine Nacht absolut okay! Parkplatz ist schief, Mülleimer vorhanden & ein kleiner Bach ist im Hintergrund zu hören. Parkplatz war relativ voll über Nacht, wir kamen gegen 11 pm und haben grad noch einen der letzten beiden Plätze bekommen. Auch am Morgen war der Parkplatz belebt, da er der Start zu einem Wanderweg ist.
Periples9927/05/2023Le 1er parking est un peu en pente mais assez spacieux, le 2ème, au bout de la route est plat mais petit, plutôt pour les vans. Nuit tranquille.

Nice quiet spot, plenty of space however on a slant, a few places where you can park up straightish. Nice views and a 5min walk to the Hotel/Brewery down the road. Starting point for Ben Vrakie Walk.

My wife and I stayed here last night. Really peaceful with a babbling brook to the one side. TV signal poor to fair but good 4G on O2. Work is taking place and the grassy area at the nearest end of the area has now been flattened. The excavator is still there so I'm not sure whether this is to extend the parking area. No other campers or cars there all night. A few cars passed but no real issue.

Am Wochenende etwas Verkehr, Platz ziemlich schief überall. Red Deer Pub nur ca. 1,5 km entfernt.

Super spot, nous y avons passé 2 nuits en van avec nos 2 enfants de 7 et 10 ans . Calme, idéal pour randonner et faire l’ascension du Ben y Vrackie ( 4h À/R) avec enfants. Pas de toilettes ni d’eau mais une poubelle sur le parking.

Excellent petit parking! Très calme, avec le son des moutons et de la rivière. Ce parking peut accueillir 4 van ou camping car. Il est légèrement en pente. Aucune annonce disant que l'emplacement était interdit pour la nuit.
