¡Atención con este parking! Anoche a las 2:45 h, intentaron robar las bicicletas de la furgoneta que estaba justo al lado de la nuestra. Por suerte, se dieron cuenta e hicieron sonar el claxon, el encapuchado salió corriendo. Cortaron la cadena con una cizalla, así que iban preparados. Nuestras bicis no las tocaron, posiblemente porque llevaban candados de seguridad. Una pena ubicación perfecta

A fuir absolument pour les propriétaires de camping car avec vélos ! De nombreux jeunes y traînent en fin d’après midi afin de faire du repérage pour voler !! Endroit très bruyant et franchement pas sécuritaire du tout. Ayant un bébé nous avons préférés aller « 5 Fettes Avenue » qui se trouve à côté de la POLICE OF SCOTLAND. Lieu très sécuritaire, calme et facile d’accès pour visiter la ville avec de nombreuses places de parking.

Niet meer gratis, maar nog steeds goede plaats om de stad te bezoeken. Wij hebben middags gegeten bij Doctors, Forrest road, een aanrader. Lekker en gezellig.

Stayed here one night. Unfortunaly not free. Signs up saying ‘3hrs free parking and if staying longer pay via app’. Staff advised us to pay when asked. £8.99 for 24hrs. Very quiet during night (10pm onwards as this is when shop shuts) usual car park noise until then. When arrived at 1230 mid day there were around 6 vans. Visited Edinburgh for the afternoon. Number 4 or 26 bus from outside dominos takes you to princes street 10min journey £2.20 signal ticket. When arrived back about 2 vans left. Around 9/10pm few more vans appeared. 530am seagulls on van making noise and 630 alarms for shop going off. Still managed to sleep till 830 after this though. Toilets clean inside, bin outside shop, easy link to Edinburgh. Would stop again for convenience.

Great for exploring the city. Quite night.

Stayed for one overnight. Checked permission from store staff. No charge and no signage to suggest payment required. Quiet during the night. Park on the perimeter away from view of main road. I would use this option again if visiting Edinburgh.

Parkovali jsme celý den při prohlídce města a nenastal žádný problém.

Super bem localizado. 30 minutos de caminhada até o centro. Estacionamento amplo. Passamos 2 noites sem nenhum problema, inclusive já voltamos neste mesmo estacionamento. Gratuito e da pra usar o banheiro do mercado. Não tem serviço, mas é seguro

Perfekt für den Besuch von Edingburh. Wir standen hier ruhig und sicher zwei Nächte lang. Im Hinteren Bereich des Parkplatzes ist es ruhig. Mit dem Fahrrad sind es circa 10 Minuten bis zum Rand der Innenstadt. Sehr praktisch wegen der Einkaufsmöglichkeit, sehr gut sortiert. Saubere Toiletten während der Öffnungszeiten. Gutes Internet. Für Wasser an der Tankstelle lieb fragen:-)

Great spot to explore Edinburgh. I asked the Morrison staff if I could stay overnight and they said it's fine. I stayed 3 nights. Clean toilets in the supermarket and there's affordable breakfast in the cafe. It was quiet at night and it felt safe leaving my van during the day. It's a 10-15 min bus ride to the city center, £2.20 per ride with a £5 cap a day. First night a fox passed by my van:)

Free parking, perfect for one night. Quiet at night, at the morning you can hear a bird concert ;) Shop is open to 10 p.m, so when we came here at 8 p.m we had enough time to shopping. No one was interested about us here.

wir waren für eine Nacht dort - security hat gesagt wir könnten solange bleiben wie wir möchten und der supermarkt hat auch toleriert die Toiletten zu nutzen während der Öffnungszeiten. Guter Ausgangspunkt für den Arthur‘s seat, in die Stadt sind es ca. 20-30 Minuten aber auch ein schöner Weg!

Wir waren eine Nacht hier. Nach Rücksprache mit der Security von Morrison ist 1 Nacht kostenfrei möglich, Kameraüberwachung inklusive. Es war sehr ruhig über Nacht, mit den Radln ist das Stadtzentrum in 5 min erreichbar. Nebendran ist noch eine sehr günstige Tankstelle.

nous y avons passé deux nuits. nous avions demander avant a l'agent de sécurité du magasin qui nous a dit que l'on pouvait . plutôt calme , bruits des mouettes et de la ville mais c'est bien pour un arrêt sur edimbourg. nous étions 3 véhicules à stationner ici.

It was a great place to leave the van and explore the city. We stayed one night and it was quiet. There are no restrictions on parking. Morrisons opens at 7:30 on most days and they have a toilet. 10 minute bus ride into center.

excellent pity the petrol station now is not offering water yo motorhomes even though the tap.is still there.

Been here June 2024. I was the only person staying for the night. Quiet enough to fall asleep. There is a bus station really close that I took to the city centre. Very convenient spot.

Keine Einwände, super entspannt. Toiletten vom Supermarkt sind ohne Weiteres zu nutzen. Ab und zu können andere Fahrzeuge zu hören sein, stört aber nicht.

There's water at the petrol station, look for grey box near the entrance of the car wash. Maybe ask the cashier first, there was a nice man when I asked.

Great stop over we stayed for the Edinburgh fringe over the bank holiday weekend Friday till Monday night not a far walk to town on the last day we did bus it as are poor feet lol

Nous venons d’être attaqués par 3 jeunes cagoulés en vélo qui ont essayé de nous voler nos vélos, il était 22h, nous regardions la télé et nous avons senti le cc bougé, nous sommes sortis tout de suite et avons constaté que la bâche avait été relevée, ils sont revenus une 2eme fois, nous avons appelé la police, de rage l’un d’eux a lancé une grosse pierre dans le pare-brise qui s’est brisé, la police est venue à 3 voitures mais ne les a pas retrouvés, faites attention à vous.

Stayed the night on Tues 15th. Paid £3 on the app. All quiet. About dozen other mohos there. Bus stop just outside and a pub and Morrisons cafe for breakfast in the morning. Please everyone treat this place with respect, no toilet emptying or leaving rubbish behind. It would be easy for Morrisons to remove the facility by simply locking the gates at night.

Guter Platz für große Camper, welche die Stadt erkunden wollen. Bezahlung per App ist einfach und auch nicht teuer. Haben hier aber nicht geschlafen.

Sadly the previous comment is accurate. Despite this car park being great free close proximity stay for the centre, we had our bike cover slashed by two people on an electric bike/ scooter at 11pm , before disturbing them. No CCTV in car park. Water tap at the garage is now turned off the staff advised as their water bill was excessive.

Emplacement à éviter si vous avez des vélos. Deux jeunes cagoulés ont tenté de voler les vélos à 1h00 du matin. Ils se sont enfuits en scooter. Résultats : un gros cadenas coupé, trois sangles coupées.

Good spot. We stayed for two nights and biked towards the city centre in 15min. Morrisons staff said staying overnight is Ok and tolerated as the paid parking is broken. Public toilet inside during store hours. But please mind your trash and use the bathroom inside. The far edges of the parking were littered by previous stayers. Let’s keep the place clean so everyone can keep enjoying it!

Un bon accueil du magasin qui vous autorise à rester pour la nuit, Bus pour la ville juste en face. Robinet d'eau à la station essence.

excellent endroit pour visiter la ville, à vélo avec les enfants pour nous. le magasin propose de délicieuses choses et le manager est très sympathique, il nous a offert de la clotted cream de la cafétéria car il n'y en avait plus en magasin ! vous pouvez manger à la cafétéria pour pas cher et pour les enfants jouer au foot ou se défouler juste derrière, grand terrain avec buts. bien dormis aussi

Super Möglichkeit um Edinburgh zu besichtigen außerhalb der clean Air Zone , mit dem Bus in 15 min in der Stadt mit Tageskarte für 5 £ kann man die ganze Stadt besichtigen. Wir haben 3 Tage hier gestanden nachts sehr ruhig Tags Supermarkt Parkplatz eben

Fait le plein d'eau à la station service, attention, le robinet est probablement condamné qd la station est fermée (dans une boîte qui ferme à clef). Un renard en prime devant nous le deuxième soir!

Nous avons passés 3 nuits sur le parking du Morisson. En arrivant, nous nous sommes présenté à l'accueil pour les avertir et une dame nous à dit que il n'y avait aucun soucis pour rester la gratuitement. Le parking est calme la nuit, des arrêts de bus sont à 2min pour aller dans le centre ville. En repartant nous avons pu remplir notre cuve à la station essence. Vraiment parfait !

Es el parking de un súper mercado. No hay duchas, pero están los baños del súper mientras está abierto. Hemos pasado 2 noches ahí. A media hora andando del centro. El súper abre hasta la 22.00. No hay barrera en la entrada. Nos hemos encontrado con varias furgos/caravanas durmiendo ahí.

Nous sommes restés 2 nuits, l'App ne fonctionnait pas avec un numéro de mobile français, nous avons demandé au service client du supermarché, la personne nous a informé qu'y rester jour et nuit est gratuit, peu importe la durée. l'arrêt de bus est sur l'avenue à 5mm, la ligne 26 va au centre d'Edimbourg en 15mn. Nous n'avons pas eu de problèmes sur ce parking, ni de jour ni de nuit.

Vous dites gratuit mais des affiches sur tout le parking indique qu'il faut s'inscrire sur une appli et payer le temps de stationnement.Par acquis de conscience nous avons quand même payé 21h à 8h payé 2.99£.On était pas très rassuré mais la nuit c'est très bien passé.Barrière à l'entrée pas fermé,vous pouvez repartir ou arriver à tout moment de la nuit .

à fuir! la parking nous paraissait très bien, nous étions tranquillement installés depuis 19h et vers 21h un groupe de 3 jeunes garçons cagoulés et à vélo sont venus nous balancer des cailloux sur notre camping-car tout neuf ! Nous étions pourtant un lundi soir, on a dû se sauver de peur qu'ils reviennent !

Bonne place pour visiter une ville. Super calme la nuit et jour selon le choix fait pour se garer. 15 minutes en bus 45 pour 2 £/1 adulte, 1£/1enfant par trajet passant à côté du musée national. LE PLUS: Boulangerie Patisserie française "L'Angelou" avec de vrais baguettes et tout et tout....à 2 minutes.

Très pratique pour une nuit, faire les courses et visiter la ville à pied (boucle possible sur tous les points en 8 à 10km) Aucun service direct sur ce grand parking presque plat.

Grote, schone parkeerplaats. ‘s nachts is het rustig en je kunt lopend naar de stad. Afvalbakken in buurt en toiletten bij Morissons. Wij hebben er 2 nachten gestaan zonder problemen, betaald via de app zoals aangeven op de borden. Kregen eerst een foutmelding door het telefoonnummer, die moet je invoeren zonder landcode en toen lukte het wel - 4,60£ betaald.

Stayed for one night on a Friday. Very cheap and quiet, convenient location for supermarket and getting to Edinburgh.

Perfect park up for what it is. Good bus links to the city, handy supermarket with toilets. Spent 2 days and 1 night here only £3.20 for 24hr can pay by app or on website, very simple. Very quiet at night. Our XLWB fit in the spaces around the edge overhanging where there was no bush. Would definitely use again.

Ein wunderbarer Platz für eine Nacht und wer mag, kann sich dort am Morgen zum Frühstück oder für einen Kaffee in das Cafe setzen. Im Supermarkt findet sich alles, was man braucht, um für die Weiterreise versorgt zu sein. Die sanitären Anlagen haben wir nicht benutzt.

Super Platz, zentral gelegen, extrem günstig (knappe 48h für unter 5 Pfund) und prima Ladenöffnungszeiten für die Toilettenbenutzung :-) Die App hat erst nach Einrichtung eines Accounts funktioniert, jedoch hakt es bei der Telefonnummer, ohne deutsche Vorwahl hat's geklappt.

Auch wenn die Toiletten ruhig etwas sauberer sein könnten, so war das schnelle Einkaufen für das Abendessen sehr praktisch. wir haben eine Nacht hier übernachtet. Unbedingt über die Parkplatzapp 12 Stunden buchen. Das ging nachdem wir ohne Landesvorwahl einen Account zugelegt haben. Es war ruhig und angenehm. Schön wären Mülleimer gewesen. Bitte haltet den Parkplatz sauber.

Stayed here twice when sick and switching between this carpark and the station one. Decent enough, obviously super easy access to morrisons, bus stops not far away too and can get a bus into the city easily. Easy to pay via app.

Won’t win a ‘scenic beauty spot’ award, but for convenience and price it’s great. £3.52 a night (less for longer term). 3km from town. Quiet overnight. No dirty looks from people. Urban foxes come right up to you. Early morning got half a tank of fuel at the petrol station and asked to use the tap. Slow flow (on the wall inside a locked cabinet near the car wash).

Stayed 1 night here, at the back of the park, very calm and without any issue. Was not able to register in the “app” but talk with the Morrison security and was told that would be fine to stay the night, council was still not enforcing the payment. NEVERTHELESS if you can sign to the app I would advise to pay as it’s very cheap and you will be worries free

Used for an overnight stop, extremely cheap and paid on app (about £2). Not many long spaces if you want to be tucked away. Long opening hours for the supermarket which was really useful, but toilets close early. Would use again.

The car park is excellent, but expect some dodgy vehicles coming and going middle of the night. In a nearly empty car park at 3am a black car parked right next to our van and drove away after ten minutes. Enough to wake us up and not know what is going on. Otherwise a really good spot, however the council website says no overnight parking even though there are no signs up.

3 nights here for £6.60. Council run park NOT Morrisons so book a ticket. Flat, quiet and parked up on left by recycle bins. If long vehicle can reverse over grass verge without problem. We had 6.5 m van. All other comments confirmed.

Great place to park. 15 mins on the number 26 bus to the centre of Edinburgh. spent 2 nights. Very quiet and felt safe. Thanks to the local council. cost £4.20 per 24 hrs. You can book via an app once you have arrived. Shopped in the morrisons and also used the facilities there.

Stayed Thursday and Friday night, fairly quiet overall. We parked to the left of the supermarket where the disabled parking was and that was probably the quietest area. Need to pay if staying more than 2 hours. 48 hours was around £4 so good value. Bus stops into the city on the main road. Clean toilets to the back of the store. Security guard regularly patrolling the car park so felt safe.

Haben für 19 Std. inkl. Übernachtung 3,50 £ bezahlt. Die nächste Busstation ist 3 Min. Fußweg entfernt. Leider ist es bis in die späten Abendstunden von der direkt angrenzenden Tankstelle relativ laut gewesen. Zunächst Hundegebell, dann immer wieder aufheulen von Motoren im Stand.

Parking hyper pratique, et pas cher pour une ville comme Édimbourg. Le bus est à 2mn à pieds. On y a été vendredi et samedi pour la nuit , et ça été étonnement hyper calme !

The carpark is not owned by Morrisons, it's council owned so you are allowed to stay here. We stayed here for 2 nights and booked online, it came to £6 for 2 nights which is a bargain. 10 minute bus into the city centre and the buses are every 5 minutes! quiet spot and quiet level in the top right hand corner. you book online at myparkingspace water is available at the garage, ask 1st tho

Nos estacionamos solo en el día para visitar la ciudad, es bastante amplio y si tienes suerte puedes encontrar lugares con sombra. No pasamos la noche ahí ya que queríamos descansar (el día anterior pasamos la noche en park and ride Newcraighall) un lugar sumamente ruidoso. Pero de no ser por haber tenido una mala noche el día anterior nos hubiéramos quedado en este lugar sin dudarlo.

Haben hier eingekauft, für den Tag bezahlt und sind mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt. Später haben wir noch Wasser aufgefüllt. Haben in der Tankstelle gefragt, für die war das kein Problem, der Manager kam nur dann aus dem Supermarkt und meinte dass sie das eigentlich nicht wollen. Könnten Keime im Wasser sein und dann wären sie haftbar etc. Also bitte dran halten

Super, ruhige Platz!

Haben hier 3 Nächte für 5,50 Pfund verbracht. Haben den Stellplatz über die Internetseite gebucht und per PayPal gezahlt. Von Morrison wollte niemand was wissen. Dieser Parkplatz ist in der Nacht relativ ruhig, und dank der nahegelegenen Bushaltestelle (ca. 2 Minuten zu Fuß) perfekt um sich ein paar Tage Zeit für Edinburgh zu nehmen. Auch der Holyrood Park ist direkt in der Nähe.

Super endroit proche d’un parc. Calme et parfait pour rester la journée et visiter Édimbourg ensuite le lendemain. Possibilité de prendre le déjeuner anglais sur la meme place. +- 2€ la nuit.

Hemos pasado la noche aquí y hemos estado bien, sin demasiado ruido. Hay que pagar aunque se haga compra. Recomiendo guardar el recibo por si lo solicitan (nos ha pasado). Sí la matrícula no está registrada cuando pasa el controlador nocturno, puede haber consecuencias (y por 3 pounds no merece la pena). Buen sitio para visitar la ciudad, a 15 minutos en bici.

Es ist zwar nur ein Supermarktparkplatz, ich konnte aber trotzdem gut schlafen. Ich habe keine 5 Pfund für zwei Nächte gezahlt. Nicht von den Öffnungszeiten auf der Buchungsseite irritieren lassen, das Parken ist auch über Nacht laut Personal im Markt kein Problem und ja auch entsprechend buchbar. Die Schranken waren auch 24 Uhr noch geöffnet.
