Great place, but you find out quickly that you're taking up space for the commuters on a week day. It was 1/8 full during the night and filled up quickly before 9 am. Parking along the road leading to the parking made us feel less like we were taking anyone else's place. And even provided us with a view of the sea!

There are only a couple spots available for longer motorhomes that allow you to park without taking up more than one spot. The lot was full by 8am. Unfortunately we saw several spots that had broken window glass on the ground. We stayed the night as it was late when we arrived, but moved to the parking lot in Athenry while we visited Galway City.
Aucune structure décente pour les camping car, sur cette ville jumelée à Lorient. ce parking est le mieux adapté si vous souhaitez visiter Galway , le train et vos jambes ,il y a des progrès à faire en irlande pour un accueil correct et accessible financièrement pour tout les budgets et chasser ces marchants de sommeils a jamais. le train 6€ aller et retour.
Top pour visiter Galway ! Parking gratuit et à seulement une station de Galway, soit 5/6 minutes de train. Compter 6€ l'aller retour pour la même journée. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de trains donc il faut quand même s'organiser en amont et regarder les horaires. Je ne suis pas resté la nuit.
Pratique, mais pas plus ! Nous n’avons pas été dérangés par les trains le matin, car il n’y a pas de trains tôt le dimanche matin (mais donc pas de possibilité de se rendre à Galway avant 10h30 le dimanche)
Galway city is bad for overnight camper stops, so this is a very useful spot. Level, quiet and free, with a short train journey into Galway

Stayed here for one night before heading into Connemara. Very quiet nights sleep, no disturbance. Flat/level parking at opposite end of car park to the station.
Useful place to stay the night when visiting Galway (as nowhere to overnight in Galway). The trains are regular at rush hours, less in the evening (last train from Galway 2225). €6 return. Some traffic in and out of course from 6am, and train noise, but expected.
Für eine Nacht okay. Dafür dass es ein Bahnhof ist, war es eine ruhige Nacht.
Für eine Nacht OK. Parkplatz durch Pendler morgens komplett voll, daher Abends so stellen, dass man rauskommt
Parking très pratique avec le train à côté pour aller à Galway. La nuit a été très calme. C'est vraiment le bon plan.
Wir haben übernachtet, ab und zu einen Zug, Park and Ride Parkplatz abends viel Platz. Kostenlos.
Parking pratique pour laisser son véhicule la journée (gratuit) et prendre un taxi/uber depuis ce lieu (environ 17-20€) ou même un train direction Galway (6€ le billet)
Nous avons passé la nuit ici car à Galway il est presque impossible de stationner en camping car et encore moins d'y dormir Grand parking gratuit Mais très tôt le matin ça devient bruyant avec le bruit des trains et des travailleurs Je sais qu'on peut rejoindre Galway en train ou bus depuis cet endroit
Avoid. My camper was broken into and my items stolen and the rest thrown over the carpark. There are better places elsewhere. It's also noisy at night with lots of local youths hanging out in the carpark. Best to avoid.
Stayed for 1 night. Flat parking, scenic quiet night, view of Galway Bay. 10-15 minute walk to town of Oranmore, nice pubs, castle, tesco/supervalu supermarkets. bins located on platform of train station. is very busy car park during the day with commuters, but quiet in evening / overnight.

Abbiamo trascorso una notte con il camper da 7.5 m. Tranquillo e calmo parcheggio illuminato, vicino al centro città e a pochi passi dalla stazione dei treni.
Ideale locatie om Galway te bezoeken zonder gedoe met parkeren in de stad. We hadden een rustige overnachting. De eerste trein komt al om 05.30 hr maar dan krijg je weer een uurtje rust. Wij hadden meer moeite met de dienstregeling vandaar maar 2 sterren. Tussen 13.45hr en 16.30hr gaat er geen enkele trein terug naar Oranmore en daar kwamen we helaas net te laat achter!!
Ne vous attendez pas à des miracles, c’est un parking à côté de la voie de chemin de fer. Malgré tout, il est grand, calme et permet un accès à Galway aisé. Donc en comparaison à d’autres parking : 4*
Parking très accessible, grand et calme pour la nuit. Il permet de se rendre à Galway avec le train (attention le dernier train au départ de Galway est à 22h15). Bus et taxis sont aussi disponibles dans cette zone. Petit centre commercial avec café/WC/supermarché à 10 min à pied. Parking efficace
Ce n’est pas l’endroit le plus glamour mais il fait très bien le boulot . Super halte pour nous avant de se rendre dans le centre du pays .

Mega! Es kostet nichts. Der Zug fährt alle 2 Stunden nach Galway. Dauer: 8 Minuten. Preis: 6,-€ Hin u. zurück. Der Bahnhof in Galway ist absolut zentral. Es ist auch möglich 2 Tage auf dem Parkplatz zu stehen. Die Plätze ganz im Nordosten sind eben. Restaurants und Supermarkt (Aldi) ist direkt in Oranmore. Es liegt noch kein Menschenkot / Klopapier rum. Benutzt euer WC oder macht den Tütentrick
Super Platz um Galway mit dem Zug zu besuchen. Wenn ihr nur 1-2 Tage in Galway bleibt, dann bleibt hier. Denn auf die Campingplätze zu gehen empfehle ich nicht, schaut euch selbst die Bewertungen der beiden Plätze an und dann wisst ihr was ich meine.
Easy to access and train is easy to get to Galway, which is only 1 stop away. Nice flat parking at the bottom on the hill. Quiet night.
Grand parking gratuit 50% vide à notre arrivée vers 19h30, parfait pour passer la nuit et repartir rapidement le lendemain. Très légère pente du parking ne nous a posé aucun problème !

Hi all, I stayed here Monday night 17/10/2020. I arrived at 11pm with the free carpark almost empty. It was very quiet and I had a very good nights sleep. People started arriving to park and catch the train 07:30hrs so be aware your unlikely to get a lie in if you are a light sleeper. I would definitely use this location again.
Para una noche no está mal, será relativamente cerca del pueblo y su pubs, pero el problema es que aunque es muy amplio solo dos estacionamientos están planos, el resto están en cuesta. No está prohibido pernoctará
Spent two nights here, confirm other comments: quiet and comfortable without any services. If you want to go to Galway by train: be mindful of train hours, as after noon there isn’t an hourly train. Nearest bus-stop to Galway is a 20min walk, til late evening.

Parking libre en la estación, sin agua ni baños, pero perfecto para una noche.Hay musica cerca pero no sabemos de donde viene. No hay carteles que prohíban pernoctar.
Spent a quiet night here. No toilets, no height restrictions, no signs restricting overnight parking. 7 minutes by train to Galway. Train tickets 6 euros return.
