You can use the site up to 48hrs. £12 for 24hrs. £6 for ehu payable at the site security cabin when open or use the QR code on the cabin window.(remember to put your vehicle registration in remarks as carpark is ANPR) toilets and showers in main building. Nearest bus stop for York is on Hull Road opposite Grimston Court Care Home ( no physical bus stop or shelter. Just flag down the bus) x46 x47 on the 1079 or 8 from the park and ride at Grimston ( 15 min walk) motorhome parking available at the park and ride.

Terrible experience. Couldn’t access the car park on arrival. Key boxes didn’t work despite paying and getting a code — the only working one was hidden behind a gate. Security said they’d help but never came and later said they didn’t even know if accommodation was offered. No facilities as advertised, glass everywhere, loud generators nearby. Paid for 2 nights, leaving after 1. Waste of money.
Dark by the time we arrived but security guy was in his portacabin and let us in. Nice and dark and flat. Bins, grey and drinking water and toilet disposal all for £12. Only one other van came in. Had problems exiting as gates were locked. Receipt gave us combination but couldn’t find the key safe. Phoned number at office to be told there was another gate that was open. It’s the one nearest where you are parked not the one nearest the main road. Other than that, a good spot nr park n ride.
Great stop over to see the centre, we had an uber taxi to town and was £10 each way. Quiet place to park Lorrie’s coming and going week days but quiet on the weekend. Only downside is services to fill up and empty are very dirty which is why I gave 3 stars.
We stayed here to visit York Christmas Market it cost us £12 for 24 hours. It's difficult to see from the main carpark as it is tucked away in the corner at the end where the storage units are. There is a cabin there with a QR code to scan to pay. Drinking water, grey and black waste facilities are also available. Cafe available when open, we had a breakfast, delicious and very reasonably priced.
UPDATE Der Sicherheitsmann sagte,dass man sonntags nicht hineingehen darf…Ich habe eine E-Mail an das Auktionszentrum geschrieben und eine sehr hilfsbereite Antwort erhalten.Man kann auch ohne Wächter hineingehen,am Tor gibt es einen QR-Code,mit dem wir bezahlen und eintreten können,an allen Tagen der Woche.Außerdem wird der Sicherheitsdienst informiert, damit sie eine ordentliche Auskunft geben.
No sign of any motor homes, and the security guard told us he was locking the gate and we could not stay the night. Went elsewhere.
Agriculture/livestock auction centre, farmyard smell but wasn’t terrible. Friendly staff on reception inside and good cafe available during the day. Best suited to self contained motorhomes rather than camper vans. Security guard was friendly and gave us the codes to the showers but there were mixed messages about whether we were meant to use facilities inside. Overall good value for York.
Absolutely great stopover, friendly security guard who showed us where everything was. Felt safe and had a fab night's sleep. Self-explanatory on how to pay using a QR code. Would definitely use again.
A serious hidden gem!!! Great space and super easy to pay, either at the security hut or via QR code on the small blue shed. Parking area situated to the right of the auction centre by some storage containers. Waste facilities also by the blue shed. Toilets and showers absolutely immaculate and look brand new. Ask for the code at reception for the shiwer rooms. Cafe is amazing

Si vous trouvez rien et que vous êtes dans le besoin ok mais sinon passez votre chemin, c’est sale, l’odeur insoutenable, on est resté 5 min on en pouvait plus. rien de sécurisé des camions cachent l’entrée bref à fuir

This is our second night here. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant last night, great breakfast this morning. The toilets and shower are first class, did hear the cattle during the night, solved b6 earplugs.
A good place to top up water and empty waste but that's it as far as I'm concerned. It wasn't very clear where you could park and where electric is as there is a pizza van obscuring the sign. You can pay £6 to top up water and empty waste, but there's no option for this on the payment link! Didn't even attempt the toilet & showers as the smell coming from that general direction was horrific
This was perfect. Just needed somewhere to park up in evening and sort waste. £12/night includes fresh water, black and grey waste . £6 for EHU. Parking is down right hand side of building which is where facilities are by blue security hut. To book use QR code on security hut- move around to get phone signal . Cafe there with home cooked meals. Used as a truck stop too. Well done CAMPra.
Never again, cows mooing all night, standing between container and delivery door of bric delivery for auctions. Restaurant and staff very friendly. Bus stop hard to find as no indication where the stop is. Would be nicer to move the MH to the fence by the road but trucks taken that over
I would only stop here again if desperate tbh Sitting in front of storage containers and nowhere to really walk with dogs makes it a grim place
Cet endroit a le mérite d’exister, même si l’environnement n’est pas top. Bus pas très loin pour 5,5€ À/R à 2 pour le centre de York. Sinon galère après notre journée à la ville,au retour les 2 portails fermés, une personne qui sortait nous a laissé entrerp
Aire très pratique et bon marché pour 1 ou 2 nuits pour visiter York. Nous avons réservé un Uber Pet pour 10 livres. En plus vous avez les services pour 12 livres et 18 avec l’électricité. Je recommande sans hésitation.
stayed last night, enjoyed dinner at cafe on site, huge portions and very reasonably priced. clean and warm toilets and shower. ideal location to take bus into York. also Murton farm museum is only a few minutes walk along the road.
Excellent stop, Only 3 EHU and only one has standard connection the other two will require your 3 pin plug adapter, easy access to york via bus or walking which we did. Overall fantastic for £18 with ehu far better value than staying closer to the city..
Stayed here over the weekend - easy to pay using QR code. Follow signs to lorry park. 8 specific MH bays round the back. Didn’t use any services but there were bins and a water tap. Two EHUs but both in use but didn’t need anyway. Was very quiet and flat. Walked to P&R about 1m away and got bus into York. Got a taxi back because it was so cold! Would use again.
Gut für die Übernachtung und für einen Trip in die Innenstadt. Bushaltestelle ca. 300m entfernt. Besonders für große Fahrzeuge geeignet. Tagsüber laut und viel Verkehr vom Auktionshaus. Da alle umliegenden P R Parkplätze eine 2,1m Höhenbegrenzung haben ist dieser Platz eine gute Alternative. Bezahlung 12 Pfund pro Nacht beim Wachmann vor Ort.

Arrived to find the second set of gates locked. Called place Security who told me (1) needed to book online for access codes, (2) security only there for lorry park emergencies, (3) would check details and call me back… didn’t happen. Website states just turn up and pay with QR code. Impossible situation. Relieved we didn’t travel too far

Best nights sleep for a while. This Aire is situated at the far end of the Car Park next to the blue containers at the side of the Auction house building. There are two entrances to carpark, one into large main carpark and one further down into lorry park. There are green/white signs directing you where to go. Full Aire facilities next to security hut. Easy QR code payment on hut
Very good and easy to find. Was a little confusing as arrived in the dark and fog, security guard unhelpful. Gate locked and need to pay to get the code to unlock the gate. Water tap didn’t work but other truck drivers helpful. Would recommend
Excellent spot if not a little unusual. Follow signs to lorry park - one of the entrances is gated and closed. Just continue down road to lorry park entrance. Around 7 designated spots for campers. There is one hook up spot with 2 x 3 pin plugs. If you are nearest the wall a 10 metre cable would suffice - you would need a longer cable for the other parking spot. toilet emptying facilities outside including a designated tap to wash out cassette toilet. Fresh water available from a separate tap. No waste water unless you empty into a bucket and put into the toilet facilities. During weekdays there is security overnight and if you have issues with the web site to pay for your spot they can take payment. Level ground to park on. Vodafone - good signal. EE - good signal. 3 - good signal. This spot is close to main A roads as well as York uni
Great facility close to bus stop into York centre. Ideal for weekend visit to the city. Fresh/grey/black water facilities. Showers and toilets available during office hours. £12pn electricity £6 extra. Right next to lorry park up but the campervan area is tucked away in the corner. Very quiet at night with added bonus of a cafe in the morning.
Handy place to park up and use the services just off the A64 outside of York at the York Auction Centre. Facilities to the right of Main Entrance of Auction Centre. Scan QR code located on. Our outbuilding. Good services for grey water, waste toilet water, and fresh drinking water (no hose provided).
Zweckmäßiger, Sicherer Stellplatz - 2 Stromversorgung vorhanden (6Pfund), nur Entsorgen 6 Pfund, eine Nacht 12 Pfund. Zahlbar am Haupteingang des Auktionshauses. Morgens ist dann was los da die Auktionen in der Woche starten (Kühe, Traktoren usw usf)! Dafür gibt es auch eine Kantine mit Frühstück und Mittag. Danke für den Service
