Perfect place to park up. Right next to beach. Toilets not far and very clean. Plenty to do. Great sand dunes and you can walk for miles..definitely the visit..
Nous nous sommes garés ici en mai (hors saison touristique). Il y a des poubelles le long de la promenade, l'accueil mobile est bon, il y a des toilettes publiques propres ouvertes de 8h à 20h et situées près de l'entrée de la gare.
We parked here in May (off-peak tourist season). There are trash cans along the promenade, the mobile reception is good, and there are clean public restrooms open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and located near the train station entrance.
Wir haben hier im Mai (außerhalb der Touristensaison) geparkt. Entlang der Promenade gibt es Mülleimer, der Handyempfang ist gut und es gibt saubere öffentliche Toiletten, die von 8 bis 20 Uhr geöffnet sind und sich in der Nähe des Bahnhofseingangs befinden.

jacko13629/03/2025March 25. Lovely place right on the sea from but the location just inside Marine Parade is for residents only. All along the whole length of the Prom there are now signs saying no overnight parking. You must pay at the machines for day time parking. Blue badge parking is free. Which is great!

Stayed here one night 07/01 Quiet night, no restrictions, I would imagine much sort after in the summer season. Toilets and bins close by. Convenient for town and beach.

Im März gab es ausreichend Platz, allerdings haben die Anwohner skeptisch geschaut. Die Lage ist supernah am Meer und auch nah an der Stadt. Auf den offiziellen Parkplätzen am Strand ist übernachten verboten.

We found the parking spot and spent the night. Quite and undisturbed. Two motorhomes passed us and parked in the town for €20. A waste of money!

We believed we had found this little space that's ok for overnight parking, checked for signs, nothing. At 6.30 Sunday morning got the parking fine. 35 £ for motorhome. Beware. Other than the money it was very much ok, quiet, spacious, right by the sea, only dog walkers passed by.

we stayed here for 2 nights right facing the amusements there is a night club across the road within the amusement complex which was noisy on the sat night till 3ish am Good spot as you are near the train station toilets and the center

We found it really tricky to find a spot to park overnight in Barmouth due to restrictions. This spot wasn’t even too far from the beach, shops, arcades and public toilets and was fairly quiet at night.

Stayed here last night. As previous comments, appears to be only stretch with no overnight restrictions. With Station behind you currently no restrictions on LH side of road. Parked just past Amusements with car park left. Car park empty, roadside fully parked up all but few spaces. Toilets yards away at the station closed about 7pm. Good spot for an overnight if you don’t mind being on the road.

Stayed here for two nights with no issues whatsoever. Perfectly situated a stone throw away from the beach and a 2 minute walk into Barmouth high street. Felt really safe. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet ish parkup - it is early December though. Overhead street lights a bit bright but we just stuffed cushions in the skylights. Toilets close by which was handy. Stayed one night as heading north for Holyhead. Would def use again. Also very level.
mmchesh29/10/2022All good here…….. even overhead security night light. Perhaps not the place in the height of summer, but plenty room and quiet enough in late Oct. Best time to get a space is late afternoon onwards. Great spot for beach access or for walk across bay via the bridge.

As the original says: there's a very short section without any parking restrictions. Use the lat.long coordinates to pinpoint it.
